One of my best purchases. Almost a year now

One of my best purchases. Almost a year now. Very comfortable. Sound quality is also good. Bass is real and doesn't sound artificial. Has a ton of features. Pairing is easy with any device. Phone, Laptop and tabs. Battery life is also quite good. It really is worth every penny.

Plantronics BackBeat Sense

Plantronics is better known for its Bluetooth headsets than for its headphones, but the company has made some strides in the field of gear intended primarily for listening to music and not talking to people.

Incredibly light, comfortable design; Good selection of accessories; Very good sound quality with powerful lows

Balance emphasizes lows and highs at slight expense to high-mids; Canvas carrying pouch is a little awkward to use

Plantronics BackBeat Sense review

The Plantronics BackBeat Sense headphones may lack the brand cachet of Beats, but we know which we'd rather be wearing (it's definitely these!) - they're absolutely great value for money.

The Plantronics BackBeat Sense headphones may lack the brand cachet of Beats, but we know which we'd rather be wearing (it's definitely these!) - they're absolutely great value for money.

First off, the Plantronics BackBeat Sense is a very fancy dan looking headset with striking circular cups; It looks great, it's light and it's comfortable - in short it's a headset you can wear for hours without any discomfort.

It's sadly not all good news though, and the fact these headphones don't feature closed cups means your fellow travellers are every bit as likely to hear your music as you are if you listen to EDM a little too loudly on the train; Still, the leakage isn't too bad all things considered.

Plantronics BackBeat Sense review

The Plantronics BackBeat Sense is a great-looking, lightweight over-ear offering that boasts brilliant Bluetooth connectivity - we just wish the sound was a touch more impressive.

Plantronics BackBeat Sense

The BackBeat Sense are a pair of wireless on-ear headphones from Bluetooth audio specialist Plantronics. Like so many audio manufacturers in recent years, Plantronics clearly wants a piece of the lucrative headphone market and has already proved with its BackBeat Fit and Pro ranges, that it knows...

Light; comfortable design; Strong battery life; Bright; detailed sound quality

Proximity sensor can activate when around neck; Some optimising issues when listening from PC/Mac

They aren't called Sense for nothing, you know

Plantronics' BackBeat Sense headphones have a lightweight over-the-head design with soft cushions that can sit on your ears without crushing them. They are Bluetooth headphones that are simple to operate, they sound good, and you can use them with a cord if you find yourself running low on battery.

Comfortable; Good sound; Steady Bluetooth performance

Sensors sometimes unreliable

Perfect for Work

I'm a software developer working in an "open floor plan" environment. To avoid distraction I sometimes throw on headphones and listen to music. I feel like these headphones where made for exactly this purpose. If I get a tap on the shoulder I simply lower the set around my neck and the music pauses.

Great headphones

Everything works the way it is supposed to. The only thing that is lacking is the call quality.

Very comfortable, but has one flaw

These headphones are quite comfortable and lightweight. They don't push on your head and have soft, memory foam padding to take away some pressure. The only flaw I have found in them is the difficulty in connecting to devices that they're already paired with.
