I was going to use these as a first step towards a 5.1 system, but after hearing them I'm reconsidering any need for additional speakers. I live in an apartment, and I think these are already more than my neighbours would appreciate.

Sporting a surprisingly natural, spacious sound for speakers costing $129 apiece, the FS52 are the speaker that perhaps best demonstrates Andrew Jones tremendous influence in creating high quality speakers at a price that fit within just about anyones budget.
These are great speakers, and the two day delivery was exceptional. Three weeks after I received them, they decreased in price. I contacted B&H, and they refunded me the difference! I would definitely do business with them again.
Talk about lackluster sound. Where is the low end Near as I can tell there isn't any. Midrange is nominal. Highs are lacking in any enjoyable luster. I'm listening to Miles Davis and keep wondering "Where is the life man! How can these make Miles sound so lethargic!
This Pioneer is a pretty good speaker. Not the best but pretty good especially considering the price. I used three for home theater with a tower on it's side for my center channel. I find most centers to be too small considering it's such an important channel in home theater.
