Having flown heli's for a while, it was time to move to the quadcopter and more specifically the "drones". It is a great system which I use the range extender with for not just distance, but control.

I had great hopes for this little drone, easy fly, got a few flights in, great video, then all of a sudden it stop responding, which wouldn't have been an issue if it wasn't, 50 feet in the air.

It has done its job, although it also has had some minor issues due to software updates. But one day, all of a sudden it shows a motor broken message after perfect flights the day before. I don't get it, and will be sending it in for repairs.

Great design and colors, easy to fly even for beginners, and it don't lose control, it can be controls from a smart phone and the best thin, it self stabilize when take hands away from smart phone

Earlier this year, we got a peek at Parrot's svelte new Bebop drone. And earlier today, I got to fly it. I crashed it immediately - you probably will too - but that's totally fine. It will survive, and flying it is still a blast.

I purchased a blue drone with skycontroller - works well . Tip - onve you update the firmware I recommend that you reset the drone by holding down the on/off button for 10sec...otherwise freeflight 3 won't connect to the drone anymore.

Drones are hot right now, but they're also quite expensive-even the entry-level DJI Phantom 3 Standard will set you back a pretty penny.
