Wonderful lens, sharp, contrasty, fast

Superb lens, images are sharp, nice contrast and colour. My favourite Canon lens was the 70-200 f2.8 L IS; this lens is a great match at equivalent focal length. Have printed images from lens at A3 - no issues that I can detect. Nice and light and complete zoom is within the barrel. Terrific lens.
Pros:
  • Consistent Output
  • Durable
  • Lightweight
  • Quick Focus
  • Sharp Focus
  • Weather sealed

Excellent quality, super lightweight

Excellent quality, both optically and build. Small fraction of the size and weight of the equivalent for a full frame camera. There is no current competative product at this quality, size & weight.

This "Prime" zoom lens is expensive but you get what you pay for!

I have been testing this lens for a few days on my Lumix G5 and have found it doesn't take badly shot photos or videos and magically transform them into masterpieces!, but when you take very good photos and video they looks amazing!
