I've always enjoyed photography and have had some digital cameras over the years, but this time, I really wanted to learn more about taking photos. After doing a lot of research, I chose to get a mirrorless for for its portability as I did not want to carry a big camera an lug a camera bag around.

Superb Camera with Loads of features
Incredible camera ! Image quality is amazing having printed photos to 11x14 and looking like large format. The panoramic feature a breeze to use the soft focus all the items are at hand and very useful. I like the viewfinder it could be bigger but still very nice.

Great little camera
I use it as a B-Cam paired with my Lumix GH5 and I love it. In body stabilization is crazy good, it's super small and light. Great image quality in 4K and the screen is amazing. The kit lenses are okay, but what I don't like about the 12-32mm is that there is no focus ring.

Vraiment très bien. Je commence à apprécier la visée par écran, ce que j'appréhendais le plus. Viseur optique pas très utilisable en plein soleil, mais suffisant dans les autres conditions.

Panasonic Lumix GX850 4K Mirrorless Camera - Silver DC-GX850KGNS review
The Panasonic GX850 puts excellent image-quality into a compact camera body. Even though the GX850 is a mirrorless, this and its price puts it in competition with Premium Compact cameras while having the advantage of interchangeable lenses and higher image-quality.
Pros:
- Low image noise until ISO 3200
- Nicely saturated colors
- Very good Automatic White-Balance
- Very fast autofocus
- Instant shutter-lag
- Fast and highly responsive
- Extremely compact
- Advanced feature-set
- Solid built quality
Cons:
- Slight general image softness
- Metering overly bright
- Dynamic-range not as wide as competition
- Wrong Live-Histogram
- No built-in EVF
- Preview not always Exposure-Priority
- Missing video mode
- Video recording delay
- Poor battery-life

- Compact, lightweight body with swappable lenses
- Crisp, detailed and relatively low noise 16 Megapixel photos
- 4K movies and 4K Photo modes with post focus adjustments
- Touchscreen tilts up to face subject for selfies and vlogging
- Fast single autofocus that works in very low light.
Cons:
- Screen doesn’t tilt down and becomes hard to view in bright conditions
- No built-in viewfinder (but not surprising at this price)
- Optical stabilisation on kit zoom not as effective as other lenses
- No mic input (again not surprising, but great for vloggers).
