Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ2500 features 20 MP resolution. The 1-inch MOS sensor performs well under low-light conditions. It records in 4K with a maximum frame rate of 24 fps. Lowering the quality allows for higher frame rates, and QFHD format yields 30 fps. The bit rate for Full-HD recordings with a duration limit set is 200 Mbps.
The FZ2500 model sports a new photo/video hybrid lens developed by Leica. The F2.8-4.5 24-480 mm Leica DC Vario-Elmarit lens utilises a guided-pole mechanism to facilitate zooming up til 20x.
The camera weighs 966 g including the SD card and the battery.

Review: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ2500 digital camera
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ2500 digital camera is a very interesting beast. It is priced at significantly more than many interchangeable lens cameras, yet it has a fixed lens. It's also as large as many interchangeable lens cameras. And Panasonic calls it a hybrid video and still camera.

Great camera
I'm very pleased with the FZ-2500 but it will take a while to become really familiar with all that it offers. I'm upgrading from its baby (but older) brother, the FZ-200.
