I bought this for my son and he couldn't play it as you need to purchase the PlayStation plus to play this game which it didn't state in the write up
We'll never know what Titan was like, but thanks to Overwatch we won't care. A first-rate team-based FPS, it has seen Blizzard rise to the top of yet another genre.
Amazingly addictive gameplay; An interesting, distinctive cast; Incredibly polished; Welcoming, but deep; A highlight reel generator; A cosmetic-only progression system
You have to return to real life at some point; however briefly
The Street Fighter of online shooters is an inspired new take on familiar ideas, that proves personality really does go a long way.
Fantastically diverse range of characters to suit any style of play; Great art design, excellent maps, and deep but accessible gameplay
There's too little content at launch; with no story campaign and only four play modes
Watched game plays on PS4 and thought I wouldnt like the game, so I bought it anyway to give it a go, and im in love with it, everything about the game is amazing.
According to my son this game is "freakin awesome" and we have to constantly tell him to keep it down when he's playing it! Be aware though that you need PS Plus to play it (maybe everybody knew this but me!) which costs extra each month but does give them free games.
Really good game using the formula of games like DOTA or LOL, and transporting it to a FPS scenario. However, be conscious that this is a PVP game, and no single player FPS.
Overwatch is an excellent competitive FPS multiplayer game. I bought this game at launch and still play it regularly. There are a variety of different character that you can play as with different skills, abilities, strengths, and weaknesses.
Overwatch reminds us of classic character-based shooters such as TimeSplitters and Team Fortress 2 but in a newly-competitive way. With highly-stylized characters across an impressive and varied roster and an array of maps and game-modes, it will have you gaming for hours and hours on end.
I have been playing Blizzard games for some time now, just about all of them save for a few of the really early titles, and this one in particular stands up to all the hype it got. Wonderfully diverse characters, simple gameplay that falls under the "easy to learn, hard to master" category.
