Def worth trying

Bought about a week ago and here's what I think. First of all, I liked the scale. You have lots of troops on the battlefield simultaneously (in one of my multiplayer battles the stats screen said that I had deployed >1,5K infantry, >250 tanks, > 130 guns, >30 aircrafts) - that makes you feel Patton...

This game is awesome. Would be one of the best if it was moddable as it definitely needs more skirmishes. No crashes or bugs. Would love to see a second installment.... so much fun!

"Great sleeper"

Much like World in Conflict, but set in WW2, very solid single player campaign, and multiplayer is great fun, especially with a friend. Loading this onto Steam gets you access to the new expansion for free, which opens up further multiplayer modes and options.

World War II games are as numerous as the bad decisions made in a college dorm.  Gamers are constantly exposed to various aspects of the war even though they didn't live through it.   As such, it's easy to start to disregard any game that is set in Europe in the early '40s.

Order of War Review

In case you hadn't heard, a tiny skirmish broke out just over seven decades ago, and happened to include some of the world's foremost authorities in war machinery. An original approach is therefore more than welcome and although Order of War at first sight gives the impression to deliver nothing new under the sun, in the end it...

Order of War Review

Throughout time mankind has waged war. History books will tell you that humans have been fighting even before we started recording history. Over that time war has constantly evolved and intensified. Ancient Rome and China, Napoleon In many ways, Order of War plays just like your average RTS.

Order of War

Whether it signals the desperation of a declining Japanese game industry or not, Order of War is somewhat of a success as the first fully-westernised development for RPG behemoth Square Enix.

Order of War Review

Order of War is a World War II real-time strategy game distinguished by its accessibility and simplicity. It's easy to learn and easy to play, eschewing base building, unit-level micromanagement, and deep economics, but it's never boring and it offers ample challenge.

Fast-paced multiplayer action; Cinematic camera lets you take it all in; Easy to learn; easy to play

Repetitive soundtrack will haunt your dreams; Buggy German campaign; Only six multiplayer maps
