Whether it signals the desperation of a declining Japanese game industry or not, Order of War is somewhat of a success as the first fully-westernised development for RPG behemoth Square Enix.

Order of war was released in November, and GiN normally reviews games as close to the date they come out as possible. That didn't happen with Order of War, because we couldn't get it to run on our gaming gear.

The Good : Outstanding graphics. Clean, simple interface The Bad : Minimal strategy involved. The Ugly : Nothing in particular. I completely understand that it's becoming harder and harder for a game to distinguish itself in the RTS genre.

Order of War is an untraditional real time strategy that presents an extremely challenging and dreadfully boring game play experience, mixed with great visuals, hundreds of units on the screen, and troops that move slower than a snail.
