Order of War is a World War II real-time strategy game distinguished by its accessibility and simplicity. It's easy to learn and easy to play, eschewing base building, unit-level micromanagement and deep economics, but it's never boring and it offers ample challenge.

Order of War does little to justify a purchase above the likes of the truly great recent RTS efforts out there, giving gamers a short distraction before returning to the big guns of the genre.

Full of Flash, Lacking in Strategy
Order of war was released in November, and GiN normally reviews games as close to the date they come out as possible. That didn't happen with Order of War, because we couldn't get it to run on our gaming gear.
If you like your RTS games simple, then this game is for you.
Maybe World War II wasn't the best topic to choose… I expected something a lot better than what Order of War turned out to be, even though deep down I kept saying to myself,"Don't, DON'T expect it to be a masterpiece!

Repetitive soundtrack; very few multiplayer maps; poor audio
Visually the game is right up there (although there are glitches - not being able to see any graphic when a unit is shooting for instance). But the gameplay is a couple of steps back from the Company of Heroes series.
