OPPO Find X5 Pro is as good as it gets
Pros:
- Best performing SD8 Gen 1 and good thermal management, Point and shoot camera is flawless, Incredible all-day battery life, The 1.07 billion colour, 1-120Hz adaptive screen is superb, Great look, design, 2-year warranty and IP68
Cons:
- Slippery, fingerprint magnet, ceramic back, No micro-SD, but you can use external mountable storage, No 3.5mm (use Bluetooth), Current firmware only supports Wi-Fi 6 - not 6E (will be updated)

Plenty of improvements With its flagship smartphone Find X5 Pro, Oppo offers a strong overall package with very little missing indeed. The centre of attention is on the triple camera, which, among other things, again relies on two IMX766 sensors.
Pros:
- true-to-life AMOLED display, fast SoC, wide speaker frequency range, great camera setup
Cons:
- no storage expansion, no 6GHz Wi-Fi, only single-band GNSS, performance degradation under prolonged load

Oppo Find X5 Pro review
The Oppo Find X5 Pro is a nice-looking, slick Android phone. It has many of the high-end features you should expect, including Android’s top chip from Qualcomm, good battery life, a great screen, unusual back design and incredibly fast charging.
Pros:
- Pros: good screen, top performance, long battery life, very fast charging, interesting design, good main camera, water resistance, fast in-screen fingerprint scanner.
Cons:
- Cons: expensive, ultrawide camera is inconsistent, lack of extended optical zoom for the camera is poor, only four years of software support guaranteed, ColorOS not polished enough, design marred by ugly logos, back is too smooth and slides around on not-quite-flat surfaces.

I can see why Oppo has been quite popular internationally. This Oppo Find X5 Pro is truly an exceptional device, especially when you read about all that went into creating it. Everything from the ceramic backplate to the dedicated MariSilicone X NPU really makes you appreciate how special it is.

Oppo Find X5 Pro review: The ultimate underdog
This flagship builds on the aspects that its predecessor did so well, delivering a gorgeous ceramic back design, along with great software, top-tier speed, and super battery life. The cameras could be improved yet more, but otherwise this is the ultimate underdog - and an obvious handset to consider alongside the likes of Samsung's Galaxy flagships.
Pros:
- Stunning and durable ceramic back
- Crisp display with lots of brightness and colour
- Fast wired and wireless charging
- Customisable software
- Great battery life
Cons:
- USB Type-A to Type-C cable is a little inconvenient
- Punch-hole camera is quite prominent
- Fiddly camera software
