After having released its flagship killer OnePlus 2 back in August, OnePlus recently released the OnePlus X in November. The OnePlus X is the first mid-range smartphone offering from the stables of the Chinese OEM OnePlus.

Slippery; Fingerprint magnet; Capacitive buttons are not back lit; Average camera; No NFC

Low cost; Great design and good build quality; Great performance; Battery will get you through the day on average usage; microSD card support

Straight Up

The OnePlus X is not another flagship killer, we have the OnePlus 2 for that. Instead OnePlus decided to take a break from the high profile smartphone game and brings us a stunning mid-ranger capable of delivering on both looks and performance.

Featured Review: OnePlus X

There's a reason the list above is almost all positives and a few negatives, but those few negatives could be a huge deal breaker for some. Still for $250 it's very difficult to be overly critical of a device that's built this well and performs nearly as well, all with the latest build of OxygenOS...

Low price; high value; Fast device; great multi-tasking; Amazing build; AMOLED screen; Size of the device; Dual-SIM; good network band support even in the US; OxygenOS with plenty of tweaks; FM Tuner; MicroSD card support

Camera is just bad in most situations; Battery life was all over the place; LTE could be spotty in the US; No NFC

OnePlus X review: An inexpensive phone that doesn't feel cheap

As a company, OnePlus is a bit frustrating to follow. It's manage to produce two outstanding Android phones in the last two years, but it's still a gamble trying to buy one. Sign up to gain exclusive access to email subscriptions, event invitations, competitions, giveaways, and much more.

The OnePlus X is definitely one of the best phones in the sub-Rs 20,000 segment and is the phone who don't like PLUS sized phones. If you are reading this review, you are in all likelihood know all features of OnePlus X which was recently launched in India at Rs 16,999.

Compact and attractive design; High end Snapdragon 801 CPU; Decent battery back up

Due to Glass body it is a bit slippery and attracts smudges a lot; Hybrid SIM slot; LED Flash light's performance less than desirable; In low light; cameras output goes for a toss

The white or Champagne OnePlus X is a gorgeous variant of the black or ceramic OnePlus X, and you can get one today without needing an invitation. A brilliant-value phone that's now officially available in the UK.
