OnePlus X Smartphone Review

OnePlus' X is actually a well-configured mid-range smartphone at a fair price. However, it is combined with a bitter aftertaste seeing that the former OnePlus One high-end smartphone is superior to the X model in all aspects but its 64 GB version only cost 30 Euros (~$32) more.

stylish design; fast SoC; expandable storage; decent speaker; good battery life

sleek surface; card tray stiff-running with card; no USB Type C; no NFC; sluggish micro-SD slot; no 64 bit SoC

OnePlus X (unlocked) review: Beautiful and cheap, with a baffling lack of wide LTE support

I was ready to crown the OnePlus X as one of the best budget smartphones of 2015. Compared to other $250 unlocked devices, it's more powerful than the Motorola Moto G, more beautiful than the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 and runs a more updated OS than the Huawei P8 Lite. With its stylish design and faster speed than its rivals, I was ready to buy into the OnePlus motto to "never settle."

The OnePlus X is one of the best budget phones of the year, but its limited LTE support make it a crapshoot for US customers who want high-speed data.

The inexpensive OnePlus X is fast, beautifully designed and has some nifty customizable features.

The glossy handset is slippery and has limited compatibility with key LTE bands in the US.

OnePlus X review

Dear Vlad, I like Android phones, but I don't like carrying around enormous bricks of technology - what's the phone for me?

Handsome; minimalist design; Vanishingly small and light for a 5-inch phone; Oxygen OS is an attractive take on Android

Slippery to hold; No fingerprint reader or NFC; Mediocre camera; Lacks proper LTE support in United States

Idyllic Design; Decent Camera; Bright Display; Good Performer; Competitive price

Hybrid SIM Slot restricts 2 SIM usage with SD card; Average Sound Performance; Suffered a bit from Lags while Gaming (Racing Games

OnePlus had recently launched the X smartphone in India. The OnePlus X is using the same hardware that was/is used on the OnePlus One handset. It's the Snapdragon 801, outdated, yet quite powerful. But what makes the X unique is the design.

Our OnePlus X review\n

OnePlus managed to make a great phone at an even lower price, but in this case you absolutely have to settle.

Great screen; Simple software; Good performance; Great value

Weak camera; Below average battery life; Glass back is slippery; Poor AT&T compatibility

OnePlus X review: Most stylish smartphone at this?price

OnePlus X: For those on a budget, this a good option as a phone that is more stylish and compact than its competitors

The most impressive feature has to be the design, which makes this one of the sexiest smartphones in this price band; But frankly, this is one thing you could expect from OnePlus, this one thing they have done well consistently with all three of their phones so far.

The OS is a bit too plain vanilla for my liking and reminded me too much of
