OnePlus 8 Pro Onyx Black 8+128GB MP 02388 review
Undoubtedly the company's most complete smartphone to date. It has a big, brilliant display, long lasting and fast-charging battery, plus software that's fluid and lightweight. All in a phone that's fast, and actually has a good main camera on the back.
Pros:
- One of the best displays on the market
- Lightweight and fluid software
- Symmetrical build
- Water and dust resistant
- Wireless charging addition is a plus
Cons:
- Colour filter camera seems pointless
- Telephoto results aren't as vibrant/dynamic as two main cameras
- Accidental touches on curved display can be an issue

OnePlus 8 Pro Review
I wish it was smaller; ditched the curved screen and was a little more comfortable to hold. But this still remains a great, big Android phone.
Pros:
- Great screen
- Seriously powerful
- Improved cameras
- Finally has wireless charging
Cons:
- Large size and overly curved screen make it uncomfortable to hold and use without a case
- Colour filter camera is utterly pointless

OnePlus has brought a number of key enhancements to the 8 Pro. The lovely design of the top-end 12GB/256GB model with its matte-green back, the 120Hz screen, IP68 rating, fast wired and wireless charging, in-screen front camera, Wi-Fi 6 and 5G all signify a serious 2020 flagship phone.
Pros:
- High-quality industrial design
- Top-end Snapdragon 865 chipset
- 120Hz screen refresh rate
- Fast wired and wireless charging
- IP68 dust/water resistance
- Alert slider on right edge
- In-screen front camera rather than pop-up
Cons:
- Odd colour filter camera
- Wireless charging in portrait mode only

- Cameras capture great photos in most conditions
Cons:
- Punch hole is pro for some
- con for others
- No 3.5mm headphone jack
- Not available directly from some carriers in USA

But taken as a package, we can’t think of a flagship Android phone that covers as many bases as the OnePlus 8 Pro. It’s a major contender for the best flagship phone on the market.
Pros:
- Smooth and sharp 120Hz QHD display
- Speedy all round
- Great camera
Cons:
- Large and unwieldy
- Curved display poses problems
- Battery life just OK

- Fantastic display
- Fast
- solid performance
- OxygenOS is light
- adds a few meaningful features and improvements
- Great camera performance
- 3x telephoto is cool
Cons:
- A bit chunky and heavy
- The storage-hungry might want larger options or microSD slot
- Speakers are a bit harsh

The OnePlus 8 Pro is the higher variant of the standard OnePlus 8 . The major difference between the two is that the Pro version has a larger display, of course has a bigger battery with wireless charger and provide more camera fun than the standard version, aside which other things remain same.

The OnePlus 8 Pro improves on its predecessor in most ways and still undercuts the competition on price
Pros:
- 120Hz display is so smooth
- An IP68 rating at last
- Very good battery life
Cons:
- HDR playback behaves weirdly
- Nothing else

Pros:
- Amazingly bright display
- 120Hz at QHD+ Resolution
- Great battery life
- Fast wired & wireless charging
- Finally a good camera at launch
- Oxygen OS is still the best Android Skin
- Official IP68 water resistance rating
Cons:
- Priced like a flagship
- 5G compatibility is not great
