OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren

The $899.99 McLaren is less expensive than most of the other 5G phones currently out there, but that doesn't mean you should buy it. T-Mobile's low-band 5G just doesn't provide enough of a performance bump right now to justify the $350 price difference over the excellent OnePlus 7 Pro.

Fastest Android phone available right now; Gorgeous screen; Quick charging; Supports T-Mobile and Sprint 5G (pending merger)

5G speeds don't justify the price if the merger doesn't go through; No wireless charging; Big

OnePlus 7T Pro review: a minor upgrade you don't need

Less than five months after the launch of the OnePlus 7 Pro, the Chinese manufacturer was back on stage with the T-variant. The OnePlus 7T Pro , revealed for the European market at an event in London last week, is the brand's top smartphone. But is it still a flagship killer

Superb 90 Hz display; Snappy performance; Very fast charging; Excellent build quality

Better camera options out there; Little advantage over the 7T or 7 Pro; Quite big and heavy

OnePlus 7T Pro review: A good Android flagship

If you still have a OnePlus 5 or 6T and are looking for an update and have Rs 53,999 to shell out, I would say get the OnePlus 7T Pro. I think it's an excellent choice. You are getting a phone that has the best specs and possibly a great camera.

OnePlus 7T Pro rated: All new, but still a great smartphone

Unlike the OnePlus 7T , which is a huge update on the older OnePlus 7, the 7T Pro is a very minor spruce up that tweaks the original Pro's hardware, rather than incrementally changing it.

Great display; Perfect for mobile gamers; Speedy charging; Innovative front camera design

Camera isn't industry leading; Not a big upgrade on the Pro

OnePlus 7T Pro: A minor upgrade but still great

Overall, the cameras on the OnePlus 7T Pro are excellent and that goes for the phone as a whole. It's very fast and responsive; it looks the part; it's aimed beautifully; battery life is fine; and that 90Hz screen is an absolute dream.

Big 90Hz screen; Superfast performance; Great cameras

A touch large; Not much different from predecessor

OnePlus 7T Pro Smartphone Review – the fastest charger

OnePlus still has it: The OnePlus 7T Pro is another high-quality smartphone that offers several highlights including a 90-Hz display, a camera with 3x zoom, a matte case and great stereo speakers. This all comes at a price that is still somewhat below that of other high-end smartphones.

good speakers; great cameras; notch-free design; good-looking matte back cover; high performance; fairly precise GPS; a lot of LTE frequencies; very fast recharging; high-resolution HDR display with good color accuracy; 90-Hz technology ensures smooth handling

strong heat development and overheating under extreme load; no wireless recharging; no warranty for dust and water damage; clear; comprehensive software; no 90 Hz for games ex-works

OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Review

The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren is a good buy for a big phone on the "New T-Mobile." At $899.99, it costs $300 less than our Editor's Choice, the Samsung Galaxy S20+, and has slightly better network performance. With the McLaren's terrific screen, superior software, and good-enough camera, it's a tough decision whether the S20+ is worth the extra coin. A lot has happened since we first reviewed this phone in December, so we decided it's worth another look. Most notably, the Sprint/T-Mobile merger is effectively a done deal, and the Samsung Galaxy S20 lineup set a new standard for both high cost and performance. Whether you choose a McLaren or an S20+ on T-Mobile is going to come down to whether you need key additional specs on the S20+'s sheet. Do you live in a central city likely to get high-band 5G, do you want to experiment with 8K recording, or do you just want to be part of the Samsung mainstream? Then go with the S20+. Otherwise, the McLaren is a very compelling alternative. Wha...

The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren is a wickedly powerful Android phone which falls just short of the Galaxy S20 series on performance, for considerably less coin.

Fast performance; Gorgeous screen; Quick charging; Supports T-Mobile and Sprint 5G

Not quite up to the Galaxy S20 series spec-wise; No wireless charging

OnePlus 7T Pro review: small updates make a great phone slightly better

In the right circumstances, there's nothing wrong with a minor spec bump, especially when it comes just six months after the device it's improving on. That's exactly what OnePlus has done with the £699 OnePlus 7T Pro, a newly upgraded version of the OnePlus 7 Pro from earlier this year.

Screen is still amazing; Battery is still great; Charges super fast

You can get a better camera for less; No wireless charging or official IP rating; 90Hz display no longer a OnePlus exclusive

OnePlus 7T Pro review: Fantastic but unnecessary

The OnePlus 7T Pro is a fantastic phone in most departments, just as the OnePlus 7 Pro is. And that's actually its biggest problem: it doesn't offer anything over what the 7 Pro can do, so feels a little like a pointless update.

Stunning display; Speedy and powerful performance; Fast-charging can be a life-saver; Clean and customisable software; Macro mode in camera

It doesn't really need to exist given 7 Pro and 7T launches in recent months; Camera performance could be better; It's a big and hefty device
