OnePlus 7T Pro review: small updates make a great phone slightly better

★★★★ 4.2
Verdict: In the right circumstances, there's nothing wrong with a minor spec bump, especially when it comes just six months after the device it's improving on. That's exactly what OnePlus has done with the £699 OnePlus 7T Pro, a newly upgraded version of the OnePlus 7 Pro from earlier this year.
Pros:
  • Screen is still amazing
  • Battery is still great
  • Charges super fast
Cons:
  • You can get a better camera for less
  • No wireless charging or official IP rating
  • 90Hz display no longer a OnePlus exclusive

OnePlus 7T Pro review: a minor upgrade you don't need

★★★★ 4.0
Verdict: Less than five months after the launch of the OnePlus 7 Pro, the Chinese manufacturer was back on stage with the T-variant. The OnePlus 7T Pro , revealed for the European market at an event in London last week, is the brand's top smartphone. But is it still a flagship killer
Pros:
  • Superb 90 Hz display
  • Snappy performance
  • Very fast charging
  • Excellent build quality
Cons:
  • Better camera options out there
  • Little advantage over the 7T or 7 Pro
  • Quite big and heavy

OnePlus 7T Pro review: A good Android flagship

★★★★ 4.0
Verdict: If you still have a OnePlus 5 or 6T and are looking for an update and have Rs 53,999 to shell out, I would say get the OnePlus 7T Pro. I think it's an excellent choice. You are getting a phone that has the best specs and possibly a great camera.

OnePlus 7T Pro review: Fantastic but unnecessary

★★★★★ 4.5
Verdict: The OnePlus 7T Pro is a fantastic phone in most departments, just as the OnePlus 7 Pro is. And that's actually its biggest problem: it doesn't offer anything over what the 7 Pro can do, so feels a little like a pointless update.
Pros:
  • Stunning display
  • Speedy and powerful performance
  • Fast-charging can be a life-saver
  • Clean and customisable software
  • Macro mode in camera
Cons:
  • It doesn't really need to exist given 7 Pro and 7T launches in recent months
  • Camera performance could be better
  • It's a big and hefty device

OnePlus 7T Pro rated: All new, but still a great smartphone

★★★★ 4.0
Verdict: Unlike the OnePlus 7T , which is a huge update on the older OnePlus 7, the 7T Pro is a very minor spruce up that tweaks the original Pro's hardware, rather than incrementally changing it.
Pros:
  • Great display
  • Perfect for mobile gamers
  • Speedy charging
  • Innovative front camera design
Cons:
  • Camera isn't industry leading
  • Not a big upgrade on the Pro

OnePlus 7T Pro review

★★★★★
Verdict: The upgrade here over the OnePlus 7 Pro is minuscule, but the OnePlus 7T Pro may be perfect for you if you have an older phone that you're looking to replace. The display is beautiful, there's lots of power, and it's all likely to come for a lower price than you'd expect from other flagship...
Pros:
  • Smooth and beautiful display
  • Great design
  • Pop-up camera is fun
Cons:
  • Still no wireless charging
  • Limited upgrade
  • Camera can struggle

OnePlus 7T Pro: A minor upgrade but still great

★★★★ 4.0
Verdict: Overall, the cameras on the OnePlus 7T Pro are excellent and that goes for the phone as a whole. It's very fast and responsive; it looks the part; it's aimed beautifully; battery life is fine; and that 90Hz screen is an absolute dream.
Pros:
  • Big 90Hz screen
  • Superfast performance
  • Great cameras
Cons:
  • A touch large
  • Not much different from predecessor

OnePlus 7T Pro Smartphone Review – the fastest charger

★★★★ 4.0
Verdict: OnePlus still has it: The OnePlus 7T Pro is another high-quality smartphone that offers several highlights including a 90-Hz display, a camera with 3x zoom, a matte case and great stereo speakers. This all comes at a price that is still somewhat below that of other high-end smartphones.

  • good speakers
  • great cameras
  • notch-free design
  • good-looking matte back cover
  • high performance
  • fairly precise GPS
  • a lot of LTE frequencies
  • very fast recharging
  • high-resolution HDR display with good color accuracy
  • 90-Hz technology ensures smooth handling
Cons:
  • strong heat development and overheating under extreme load
  • no wireless recharging
  • no warranty for dust and water damage
  • clear
  • comprehensive software
  • no 90 Hz for games ex-works

OnePlus 7T Pro review: excellent hardware and software combine on one of the phones of the year

★★★★★ 5.0
Verdict: The OnePlus 7T Pro is the latest and greatest flagship from OnePlus, packed with top-tier specs and a stylish design that builds on the OnePlus 7 Pro – making it a serious rival to the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S10 and the Pixel 4 at the top-end of the Android market.
Pros:
  • Superb design and screen
  • Packed with power
  • OxygenOS impresses
Cons:
  • Not much improvement over the OnePlus 7 Pro
  • Only one internal storage option
  • Camera could be better

Excellent phone and cheaper than the competition

★★★★★ 5.0
Verdict: I've switched back from iOS to Android for this phone and so far it doesn't disappoint. The screen is great, as is the battery and it's super fast. As a nice bonus it comes with a case and a screen protector pre-installed. The only potential down-side for some people will be the size.

OnePlus 7T Pro review: The best OnePlus phone, but not the one you should buy

★★★★★
Verdict: When I shared my first impressions of the OnePlus 7T Pro a few weeks back, the sum of my observations was that nothing much had changed since the last generation. Having spent more time with the phone, that's even more apparent, and so are its various imperfections.
Pros:
  • Display Even though I'm not one for curves
  • it's a beautiful display
  • and the 90Hz refresh rate is still just as impressive alongside the rapid animations
  • Performance Still the fastest
  • smoothest Android experience - even ahead of the Pixel 4
  • Design and build OnePlus now makes some of the best...
Cons:
  • Design, again The Haze Blue color isn't quite as classy as the Nebula Blue from the 7 Pro, and there's no other visual difference
  • I've found the alert slider can be accidentally switched all too easily, Size It's a big chunk of a phone, and more unwieldy than the narrower 7T, Software While Oxygen...

OnePlus 7T Pro Review

★★★★★ 4.6
Verdict: OnePlus has a new business strategy this year – instead of releasing two phones a year like it used to, the company revealed four in 2019. Earlier this year, the OnePlus 7 was announced alongside the more exciting OnePlus 7 Pro – destined for international markets and for the US audience,...
Pros:
  • Beautiful display
  • OxygenOS is fast and functional
  • Launched with Android 10
  • Versatile camera
  • Great battery life
  • Ultra-fast charging
Cons:
  • No US availability yet
  • Macro mode is fun
  • but the quality of macro photos isn't great

OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren

★★★★ 3.5
Verdict: The $899.99 McLaren is less expensive than most of the other 5G phones currently out there, but that doesn't mean you should buy it. T-Mobile's low-band 5G just doesn't provide enough of a performance bump right now to justify the $350 price difference over the excellent OnePlus 7 Pro.
Pros:
  • Fastest Android phone available right now
  • Gorgeous screen
  • Quick charging
  • Supports T-Mobile and Sprint 5G (pending merger)
Cons:
  • 5G speeds don't justify the price if the merger doesn't go through
  • No wireless charging
  • Big

OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Review

★★★★ 4.0
Verdict: The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren is a wickedly powerful Android phone which falls just short of the Galaxy S20 series on performance, for considerably less coin.
The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren is a good buy for a big phone on the "New T-Mobile." At $899.99, it costs $300 less than our Editor's Choice, the Samsung Galaxy S20+, and has slightly better network performance. With the McLaren's terrific screen, superior software, and good-enough camera, it's a tough decision whether the S20+ is worth the extra coin. A lot has happened since we first reviewed this phone in December, so we decided it's worth another look. Most notably, the Sprint/T-Mobile merger is effectively a done deal, and the Samsung Galaxy S20 lineup set a new standard for both high cost and performance. Whether you choose a McLaren or an S20+ on T-Mobile is going to come down to whether you need key additional specs on the S20+'s sheet. Do you live in a central city likely to get high-band 5G, do you want to experiment with 8K recording, or do you just want to be part of the Samsung mainstream? Then go with the S20+. Otherwise, the McLaren is a very compelling alternative. Wha...
Pros:
  • Fast performance
  • Gorgeous screen
  • Quick charging
  • Supports T-Mobile and Sprint 5G
Cons:
  • Not quite up to the Galaxy S20 series spec-wise
  • No wireless charging
