Oneplus 3 is a powerful phone at a very attractive price point. Smartphones listed on PriceMe with comparable features and specs typically cost a lot more and manufactures like Samsung, Sony and LG better take note.

Oneplus 3 comes with an aluminium case in a unibody design that enhances durability. It's powered by the latest Snapdragon 820 processor and is equipped with 6 GB of RAM memory.

The back camera has a resolution of 16 MP with optical image stabilisation, phase detecting autofocus and f/2.0 aperture. It records video in 4K resolution and 30 frames per second. The lower HD resolution captures 120 images per second. Image enhancing techniques like auto-HDR and noise reduction create crisp images under different light conditions.

The battery has a whopping 3,000 mAh. One of the most impressive features is the super fast Dash charge. About 60% of the battery can be charged in 30 minutes. Dash charge is developed by VOOC, which is a company related company to Oneplus. Please note that it's only Dash charge from VOOC that offers super fast charging.

OnePlus released the successor Oneplus 3T in November 2016.

  • excellent notification slider
  • dual-Sim with dual standby

  • no expandable storage
  • slow charging from non-Dash charge power adapters

  • First in India with 6GB RAM
  • Clean user interface
  • Camera better than average

OnePlus 3 review: The flagship killer we've been waiting for

In previous years, OnePlus hasn't been shy about pitching its mid-price phones as "flagship killers". To call the company self-assured would be something of an understatement, but this year's launch of the OnePlus 3 seemed a little more subdued. Perhaps uncharacteristically so.
Pros:
  • Bright and colourful AMOLED display
  • speedy performance
  • super quick charging
  • build quality is great
Cons:
  • No expandable storage
  • camera not as good as its claims

OnePlus 3 review: David just beat Goliath

The OnePlus 3 has improved on its predecessor in just about every way. The specs have been improved, the design has been refined and the price is still just as attractive. If I had to nitpick, I could point out that although there's 64GB of storage space there's no microSD option to expand it.
