Review: Olympus Stylus XZ-10

Overall, a study build and decent image quality makes this a decent camera to own, but it has its downs as well. While it offers PASM modes, with control on aperture, exposure bias, and shutter speeds; the 1/2.3" sensor does have its limitations.
Pros:
  • Sturdy to hold
  • PASM modes
  • Offers F/1.8 aperture settings
  • Loads of image effects to play with
Cons:
  • Small sensor
  • Tacky UI
  • Over saturated colours
  • Expensive

An excellent camera.

If you are looking for the ability to be creative don't want the hassle of Compact Camera Systems then this should be on your list of possible buys. You can change the aperture, shutter speed and exposure with ease and the results so far are extremely impressive.

I've had this camera for about 6 weeks now and I think it's great. I also have an XZ-2 to compare it alongside and I must say, if I'm taking a small camera with me I'll go for the XZ-10 every time.

Easy to use-compact full featured

This is my second Olympus camera. I really like my Stylus 760, but the additional tech features on the XZ-10 make it an outstanding addition to my camera selections. I like compact pocket size cameras that are easy to carry and use.

Great little camera

I have an XZ-10 and the XZ-2. I find that I'm using the XZ-10 more. The main reason is that I can always put it into my pocket so it is always with me. It is as quick as the XZ-2 in terms of startup and focus.
