Odin Sphere Leifthrasir review – a sight for Thor eyes

A highly successful remake that fixes the technical and design flaws of the original and turns it into one of the year's best looking action role-players.

Some of the best 2D graphics ever, with some stunning art design; Enjoyable combat system, with plenty of upgrade options and some great boss battles

The inventory can still be a pain to deal with and the platforming's not much fun; Story structure and map design does encourage a little too much repetition

An excellent RPG experience

Odin Sphere Leifthrasir tells a truly intriguing tale through multiple perspectives. The gameplay is easy to grasp while still providing strategic depth, and the gameplay is varied and appropriately challenging. I would highly recommend this game.

beautiful, extremely playable

Stunning, captivating, beautiful, extremely playable. I don't think too many people even know about this remake from ps2 to ps4 and the game deserves to sell by the bucket load as it's that good. Just buy this game and thank me later lol.

Magic is Reborn with Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir

Technology changes in the blink of an eye. A few months can see the difference between what people see as ordinary and mundane to a new gadget they couldn't imagine living without. New, constantly improving technology shifts so quickly that the changes almost become imperceptible.

Review: Odin Sphere Leifthrasir (Sony Playstation 4)

Odin Sphere Leifthrasir is interesting in that it made quite a few updates that make if feel and play much better but those improvements make it line up with the memories you had of it and not what it actually was. It is now a much better game, but still feels a tad bit antiquated.

Odin Sphere Leifthrasir

Released in 2007 by Atlus and Vanillaware, Odin Sphere was a visually impressive action game that had some pretty interesting mechanics and a distinct art style that set it apart - however, it had its problems.

Greatly improved combat; improved framerate; the impressive style is now in high-definition

Still contains a lot of repition in areas and bosses; so many skills that it's nigh-impossible to use them all

Odin Sphere Leifthrasir Review

Odin Sphere is framed narratively as a series of books read by a little girl called Alice with her cat Socrates, in a delightfully presented opening sequence of her picking a book to read, each revolving around one of five protagonists.
