Brilliant
An excellent phone. Well made and stylish looking. Features are good including video editing and 12mp camera. HDMI to upload to tv is good quality too.

Nokia N8 Pink
Just a few months after releasing its flagship multimedia mobile of 2010, Nokia has released a new and very pink version of the N8.
Pros:
- Good finish
- design and handling
- Takes very good photos with plenty of editing options
- Audio and video quality
- Phone and GPS: good network reception / free maps
- FM radio and translitter
- voice recorder
- plenty of connections (HDMI
Cons:
- Screen: poor colour fidelity
- Symbian Anna interface: better but still quite convoluted
- The OS could be more responsive and smooth

Nokia N8 Review
The Nokia N8, until now, had one major problem - the truly pathetic Symbian^3 OS. However, that problem has now been solved with the Anna update. The otherwise floundering smartphone is now a hugely improved overall package.
Pros:
- Much improved performance
- Superb battery life
Cons:
- Social networking integration & apps are still rubbish, Widget sizes still restricted
- variety of widgets also suffers

Great phone, easy to operate, exceptional quality pics (have had some of mine put on canvas), will be buying another one if anything happens to mine.

BEST CAMERA PHONE IN THE WORLD BY NOKIA
I OWN THIS PHONE HAD BEEN USING IT FOR PAST 1 YEAR NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. BEST CAMERA WITH XENON FLASH and CARL-ZIESS LENS. ONLY PHONE WITH STANDARD MICRO-HDMI PORT RATHER THAN CUSTOM MANUFACTURER PORT Eg. Sony Erricson Experia Arc. Extremely robust with all aluminium body.

N8: Nokia almost delivers a really great phone
The N8 is a great piece of hardware, with very functional, albeit somewhat annoying, software and user interface. If you love Nokia, or love tweaking a device to your exact preferences because you expect to use it as a loyal and useful tool for the next two to three years,...

- It must provide powerful messaging capabilities

Cons:
- It’s inconsistent
- In some apps you can do pinch/spread with multi-touch, in some apps you can both pinch or use the +/- rocker switch on the side, in some apps you can just use the rocker.

- Firstly â€" what a great camera.
Cons:
- It’s inconsistent
- In some apps you can do pinch/spread with multi-touch, in some apps you can both pinch or use the +/- rocker switch on the side, in some apps you can just use the rocker
- Why not pick a standard and stick to it?

"N8 reliability "
The Nokia N8 is my every day phone, I use it day in and day out, Nokia have always been top brands for me when it comes to mobile phones from my old 3330, N95, N96 and now the N8 which has proven to be a reliable phone.
Pros:
- easy to use
- touch screen
- slim
- 12 mega pixel camera
- HD recording
Cons:
- freezes
- hanging up on accident
- sim card complications

Nokia N8
The other reviewer with the suspected motherboard failure should try replacing the battery which is an easy job with a t5 driver. Even if your existing battery registers a voltage it may be faulty. This happened to me after 14 months, thought I had a brick but a new battery revived the old girl.
Pros:
- Tough device, very adaptable, underrated, excellent GPS software (will even give you ordinates, have used to create GIS layers), gets a bit warm with heavy use, especially when using as a wifi hub
- Great images I have blown up onto large canvasses
- Radio transmitter a bonus.
Cons:
- Software could be better, but could be a whole lot worse too
- Nokia need to do a better customer support job in the Americas
- I used them in Europe for years and am dissapointed with support stateside

Review: Nokia N8: part 3 - Multimedia and Gaming
In part 2 of our Nokia N8 review, I looked in detail at its camera and camcorder functions, loving the raw capture but bemoaning shortcomings in the supporting software. But what about media that you bring in from outside?
