While the N8 does offer some quality features such as its 12-megapixel camera and HD video capture, not to mention its music player and generous built-in memory, it feels slightly clunky when compared with the rest of the top-tier smartphones currently available.

- 12-megapixel camera
- music player
- HD video capture
- HDMI port
- relatively cheap
Cons:
- Uninspiring design
- clunky web browsing
- unreliable touch UI
- revamped OS feels dated

Nokia N8 REVIEW
Enabled with a 12 megapixel camera, enriched with 720p video recording as well as a touchscreen, Bluetooth 3.0 and 16GB of internal storage, the Nokia N8 is definitely taking on some of the other smartphones in the market at the moment.

Nokia N8
Beautiful hardware that's crammed with features, but the N8 is totally let down by Symbian

Nokia N8
While the likes of Apple, BlackBerry and HTC have been tearing ahead with updated technology and impressive platforms such as Android and iOS, Nokia has remained virtually static - determined to squeeze every last drop out of its proprietary, yet antiquated Symbian S60 platform.
Pros:
- Fantastic features
- great image capture options
Cons:
- Symbian S3 is still behind the times

Nokia N8 review
Here it is ladies and gentlemen, Nokia's latest and greatest Symbian handset, the N8. The N8 got a bit of a late start in life, with production and shipping delays a plenty, but the handset is now starting to propagate itself the world over.

Nokia N8 smartphone
The N8 is the proverbial curate's egg. It offers very capable hardware with real benefits, particularly for imaging, and wraps it in a rough UI. Indeed, it retains much of the cruftiness of the Symbian S60 5th Edition interface, which feels clumsy and, in today's market, unnecessarily complicated.

Nokia N8
SYMBIAN^3 IS now upon us, and Nokia's clearly hoping it will boost sales of its N8 handset. With an array of multimedia tools, Nokia will also be looking to claw back previously loyal customers that have since defected to Android-based models and the Iphone.
Pros:
- Great camera
- decent battery life
- impressive multimedia options
Cons:
- Poor touchscreen keyboard
- frustrating Internet experience
- cluttered interface
- Symbian^3 is disappointing
