I do not want to sound rude but Nokia has not been at its best lately and it has been constantly loosing ground to some of the other handset biggies like Samsung and HTC. No one really knows the reason behind such a collapse but it seems that Nokia has finally realised the problem.
Pros:
- 360 x 640 pixels screen resolution
- Multi touch input method
- Scratch resistant Gorilla Glass display
- Accelerometer and Proximity sensor
- 512 MB ROM
- 3G connectivity
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
- Bluetooth v3.0
- 4000 x 3000 pixels camera resolution
- 1/1.83" sensor size
- Geo tagging
- 680 MHz ARM 11...
Cons:
- Average battery life
- Limited third party software availability
- Outdated camera interface
- Symbian^3 OS not at par with the Android OS
- No office document editing

Better as a camera
I have had this phone for quite sometime now and I think its great not to big in size but not so small that you lose it all the time with its sleek black frame and large scratch proof touch screen it really does look the part, it is very easy to use and to set up.

best camera phone
One of the best touch bases camera phone out there . The touch screen function is quite liquid, so one must not look like a lunatic on the screen "tap" to what happens once or adopted. You can just lightly tap and it will be switched as a Home Screen in the next, without problems. The "touch-QWERTY...

Perfect for basic phone use (Making calls and Texting). Brilliant at being camera
Having used my Nokia N8 mobile phone for over 2 years now I have found it suits me perfectly. If you want a phone for basic tasks such as making calls and sending texts, as well as having a great Camera that out performs almost all other camera phones since then this is a great phone to buy.
Pros:
- Reliability

Phone and features are great phone. Poor battery life especially after a few hours of use. It wont last if you are travelling around, checking emails, listening to music or videos. I have had to charge it twice a day so far.

Nokia N8
Nokia N8 is one among the latest Symbian phones manufactured by Nokia . At first sight itself I liked it very much. An expert said that it has excellent video quality and enhanced performance. I believed him till my friend brought one piece.

Nokia N8 smartphone
The N8 is the proverbial curate's egg. It offers very capable hardware with real benefits, particularly for imaging, and wraps it in a rough UI. Indeed, it retains much of the cruftiness of the Symbian S60 5th Edition interface, which feels clumsy and, in today's market, unnecessarily complicated.

Nokia N8
Nokia has built a superb phone in the N8, with a class-leading camera and excellent connectivity, but has spoiled the whole package with its half-baked Symbian^3 software. This phone is only recommended to people looking for a basic phone experience matched with an outstanding camera.
Pros:
- Solid
- unique design
- Outstanding camera
- HDMI connectivity
- 32GB expandable storage
Cons:
- Symbian^3 feels incomplete with loads of inconsistencies
- Performance is frequently sluggish
- Home screen design needs work

Nokia N8
With the formidable iPhone 4 spearheading iOS, the imposing Desire HD in Android's corner, and the capable Samsung Omnia 7 backing the play of Windows Phone 7 , you could hardly deny that Nokia has a fight on its hands with the N8.
Pros:
- Superb camera
- Great build
- AMOLED screen is bright and colourful
Cons:
- Symbian^3 is limited
- no Android killer
- Needs a higher-res display
- No native DivX support
