The Nokia N8 is priced at Rs 24,600. If you want another 12.0-megapixel snapper then you can consider Sony Ericsson Satio priced at Rs 25,900.

Nokia N8 review: Nokia N8
The Nokia N8 excels as a camera phone, and the improvements of Symbian 3 make it one of the company's best smartphones to date. However, it still has its shortcomings and an expensive price tag, making it a hard sell for the North American market.
Pros:
- The Nokia N8 and Symbian 3 offer a better and more enhanced user experience than previous devices
- The N8 delivers excellent camera and video quality
- The smartphone has solid hardware and offers 3G support for both T-Mobile and AT&T
- You get free turn-by-turn navigation via Ovi Maps.
Cons:
- It's expensive
- User interface is much improved, but still trails the competition in ease of use
- The N8 can be sluggish
- You only get a QWERTY keyboard in landscape mode, and there's no user-replaceable battery.

Nokia's latest serves up a fresh spin on an ageing formula, but ultimately fails to ace the new smartphone competition

If software is important to you, the Nokia N8 may fall behind the Apple iPhone 4, but otherwise it's worth adding to your list. It offers an outstanding specification, is particularly well made and offers excellent value for money.
Pros:
- Like or loath the Nokia N8's styling, there's no debating the quality on offer here
- It's constructed almost entirely from anodised aluminium, and is incredibly tough
- A glass screen adds to the quality, and it's a smartphone that can easily withstand daily knocks and drops, It's the 12-Megapixel...
Cons:
- The Nokia N8 may have an all new operating system, but like older touchscreen Nokias it's still clunky compared to offerings from Apple and Android
- That said, it's a lot faster than older handsets, and there are lots of new apps on offer from the Ovi Store
