Nokia N8 Review: In Depth
The Nokia N8 is a seriously powerful smartphone with some great features such as the 12-megapixel camera and the HDMI-out capabilities. However we feel there's much room for improvement on the user interface side of things and the web browser could do with a serious overhaul.

Nokia N8 Symbian^3 smartphone review
At the end of the day, I can't say that the Nokia N8 is a bad phone. It's actually quite good. The AMOLED display is brilliant, the haptic feedback and on-screen keyboard are quite usable, and the 12MP camera is quite impressive (under the right conditions).

12 Mp With Autofocus
Nokia N8 is a touch screen smart phone. It is the first smartphone launched in 2010 to run on the Symbian3 Operating System. It weighs only 135 g. Its screen is AMOLED capacitive touch screen having a pixel density of around 210 pixels per inch and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Though the phone is out-dated but the camera competes remarkably well with 2012 camera smartphones. Nokia has recently released Symbian Belle update for Nokia N8, UI more smoother and user friendly. If looking for a budget economy phone with a fantastic camera then N8 is still in the reckoning.

Perfect for basic phone use (Making calls and Texting). Brilliant at being camera
Having used my Nokia N8 mobile phone for over 2 years now I have found it suits me perfectly. If you want a phone for basic tasks such as making calls and sending texts, as well as having a great Camera that out performs almost all other camera phones since then this is a great phone to buy.
Pros:
- Reliability

Great Phone for such Hardware
Too bad Symbian has been thrown into obscurity to wither Look for a pleasant CFW and flash it into your N8, you'll see the huge difference performance and you won't have to worry about Installing stuff into it.

Nokia N8 review
With the N8, Nokia has seemingly thrown all the tech it can think of at the new handset in a bid to rival the likes of Android and the iPhone – a 12MP camera with ‘proper' Xenon flash, XVID and DIVX support, HD video capture, Dolby Mobile sound and an HDMI-out port are just the tip of the iceberg.
Pros:
- 12MP camera
- HDMI port
- Ovi Maps
Cons:
- Symbian^3 still seems archaic
- It's not the thinnest handset
- Messaging is something of a chore
