Nokia E66
We were bowled over when we came face to face with the first of Nokia's new smartphones, the Nokia E71 last month. Its combination of usability, battery life and business features saw it elevated to the lofty position of A-List champion, rudely elbowing aside our longstanding favourite, the HTC TyTN...

Nokia E66
A capable and beautifully designed smartphone, but weaker battery life means it can't match the E71

Very good but expensive
As part of the E series, Nokia targets the business users with this model. Although it is designed to be a business phone, it has all the entertainment features that are found in the other music/camera phones. I am owning it for 7 months and it has been a very good experience.

Nokia E66
It's raining Nokia S60 smartphones here lately, and we were lucky enough to receive the US version of the recently announced but not yet released Nokia E66 for review. The US version is a quad band unlocked GSM phone with US 3G HSDPA on the 850/1900MHz bands.
Pros:
- Has complete support for US bands, including 3G
- The NAM model has a US warranty
- Extremely attractive design and quite thin
- WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, FM radio, MP3 player and a 3 megapixel camera-- the phone has all
- Nice use of the accelerometer for screen rotation and silencing the phone
Cons:
- Reception is just average (usually Nokia phones have very, very strong reception)
- Camera images aren't very good

Nokia E66
It's not often that Nokia releases a new range of business phones, and when it does you'd better sit up and take notice. The last time round, it was the E61 that had us in raptures, with its Blackberry-beating keyboard and good range of software and features.

Another capable and beautifully designed smartphone from Nokia, but weaker battery life means it can't quite match the amazing E71

Nokia E66 review
Like the E71, Nokia's E66 feels well made, but there are significant differences between the two handsets. The E66 doesn't have the same QWERTY keyboard that sits under the E71's screen, preferring to use a sliding numeric keypad instead.

Nokia E66
The Nokia E66 is a cool and trendy slide design mobile phone that comes in a choice of two colour casings of grey steel and an elusive white steel casing, both of which are very stylish. The E66 has been built and designed with personal and business users in mind.

E66-2 - a fantastic unlocked slider smartphone!
The E66 is a fantastic 3G slider smartphone. I was tempted by the full keyboard E71, but decided I would make more use of the numeric keypad than a full keyboard, and the E66 is essentially an E71 in a slider form factor -- Unlike some, I do not mind using T9, which works very well in the E66.
Pros:
- Quadband GSM UMTS 850/1900 - 3G for those on AT&T -- 3G is only slightly slower than Wi-Fi in my area Wi-Fi for even faster data Bluetooth Full HTML web browser Fast GPS
- even indoors (using A-GPS) - works great with Google Maps and Nokia Maps Very capable built in e-mail client -- I use it with...
Cons:
- First phone arrived with a dead right softkey, which is the only reason I did not give it the highest rating
- That said, great Newegg return/replacement policy limited the hassle of the exchange
