Nokia E66

Call quality was never an issue with the E66, as it easily lived up to our expectations of a Nokia-branded phone. Ring tones sounded quite loud and we were happy with them even in noisy environments. The vibro alter was of moderate strength.

The Nokia E66 is one of two recent additions to Nokia's E-Series lineup of business oriented device, the other is the QWERTY sporting E71. We found the E66 to be a very attractive device, and those looking for an all-in-one device are going to give it a hard look.

Nokia E66

The Nokia E66 is a cool and trendy slide design mobile phone that comes in a choice of two colour casings of grey steel and an elusive white steel casing, both of which are very stylish. The E66 has been built and designed with personal and business users in mind.

E66-2 - a fantastic unlocked slider smartphone!

The E66 is a fantastic 3G slider smartphone. I was tempted by the full keyboard E71, but decided I would make more use of the numeric keypad than a full keyboard, and the E66 is essentially an E71 in a slider form factor -- Unlike some, I do not mind using T9, which works very well in the E66.
Pros:
  • Quadband GSM UMTS 850/1900 - 3G for those on AT&T -- 3G is only slightly slower than Wi-Fi in my area Wi-Fi for even faster data Bluetooth Full HTML web browser Fast GPS
  • even indoors (using A-GPS) - works great with Google Maps and Nokia Maps Very capable built in e-mail client -- I use it with...
Cons:
  • First phone arrived with a dead right softkey, which is the only reason I did not give it the highest rating
  • That said, great Newegg return/replacement policy limited the hassle of the exchange

This is a great phone, recently tried & failed at the Sony Ericsson C702 & got this phone instead. Lots of features on it that I don't know if I'll ever use but all seem very good if you are likely to need them.

Nokia E66

All in all, the balance of the Nokia E66 is glorious, it varies from being a kwirky little wizard to being a she-devil of a lie face.
Pros:
  • Lightning comes out of screen when angry
Cons:
  • explodes, does not contain camera film
  • Cannot send a telegram
  • Is smaller than a telegraph pole, a cheetah and a forest
  • Cannot hold your eye contact for long, has trust issues, is reserved in the bedroom
  • Smashes when thrown at walls.
