Clear as black
The Nokia C6-01 comes in as a reasonably priced and well-built smartphone with great all-round connectivity and a unique feature to set it apart from rivals. The ClearBlack display can actually give Nokia quite an edge if it lives up to the expectations.

Nokia C6-01
The handset has one speaker, but it offers loud and clear sound you can hear from pockets and bags. I like shallow and frequent vibro tremolos, but the majority may view it as weak. There are no complaints regarding the connection quality.

Nokia C6
The C6 probably won't excite a lot of people and we don't think it was meant to anyway. This mid-range Nokia smartphone with slide-out keyboard gets its basics right, but is largely hampered by a sluggish and outdated user experience.
Pros:
- Connectivity features
- Free real-time navigation with Ovi Maps
- Generally well-built chassis
Cons:
- Sluggish performance
- Outdated user interface
- No USB charging
- Ovi Store pales in comparison with competition

Nokia C6
The C6 is similar to the N97 mini in many ways. They run on the same operating system, have the same screen size and are powered by 434MHz processors. The differences? Nokia C6 smartphone
Nokia's midrange C6 is effectively a budget version of last year's N97 but still manages to pack in a slide-out Qwerty keyboard, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, a 5Mp camera and A-GPS with turn-by-turn satnav as standard.

Nokia C6 smartphone review
The Nokia C6 is marketed as a social networking device, but has enough features to enable it to double as a useful business phone.

Nokia C6
The Nokia C6 is the latest in a long line of modestly priced touchscreen smartphones with side-sliding keyboards from the Finnish company. Nokia doesn't have a particularly good track record when it comes to touchscreen smartphones, though, so can this model finally put Nokia back on the map?

Nokia C6-01 review
The Nokia C6-01 is the embodiment of Nokia; it's a high quality, affordable handset that almost rivals that of the far pricier flagship N8
Pros:
- Excellent value for money
- Robust
- Symbian 3
Cons:
- No HDMI port
- Unexciting looks
