For a budget-friendly phone, the Nokia 5 looks and feels rather premium. But for many, it's what's on the inside that counts, and that's where the phone's lower price starts to become evident.

- stock-like software experience
Cons:
- Just 16 GB of storage 2 GB of RAM and Snapdragon processor aren't the fastest Photos come out dark

Nokia 5 Smartphone Black NOKIA 5 SP review
To help meet its price target, Nokia has prioritised hardware design and robustness over processor speed and storage space, and also opted for a simple camera setup and a moderate-resolution screen. The inclusion of a fingerprint scanner is welcome the face of such compromises.
Pros:
- Top-notch hardware design and build quality, Fingerprint sensor, Stock Android with no UI overlay or bloatware
Cons:
- Moderate performance, Screen resolution could be higher, Poor audio quality from single speaker

Nokia 5: The mid-range contender
Since its announcement at MWC 2017, I've had my eyes on the Nokia 5 . Its beautiful aluminium unibody design made it a real standout for a smartphone at this price. Now I've finally had the chance to try it out for myself, and discover whether it's as good as it looks.
Pros:
- An unbelievably bright display
- Great build quality and design
- Excellent battery life
Cons:
- No 1080p display
- Only 2GB of RAM
- Camera struggles in low light
