Garbage!

Not even close to being worth what Nintendo is asking for this pile. This "device" is for kids only, kids that don't really care about much except being able to control mario or throw pokeballs around the screen.

I really couldn't find any "pros" with this toy

The first thing I was met with upon turning this on was blurry, hard to read text on the dsi menu; I really was quite disappointed at how bad the text looked; Other things that are poorly done: 1.

Not something teens would enjoy

The game selection isn't very huge. If you/your child is ok with this, then you should get it. Don't make it a priority over other consoles though.

Easy gaming platform; very customizable

The system is fragile; resulting in a broken screen; and R and L buttons

Nintendo DSi XL Review

Nintendo's blown-up DSi XL offers a more immersive experience, but may not be worth the upgrade for existing DS owners.

Larger screen size; Still very portable; New matte finish offers better grip; Compatible with DS cartridges

Weak and overpriced titles; Same screen resolution as the DSi and DS Lite; Small number of preinstalled titles

Nintendo DSi XL

There's no debating it, the Nintendo DS is by far the best-selling portable system ever released. With approximately 128 million units sold worldwide, no other gaming handheld comes close to the success of the franchise.

Adds two supersized screens; improved viewing angle; fantastic battery life; great new pen-shaped stylus; preinstalled games and software

A bit bulky and heavy; size makes device less portable; no improvements over DSi's cameras and internal storage; networking hiccups found in DSi remain; text-based games may look slightly blurry; old DSiWare games can't be transferred over to the XL

Nintendo DSi XL

Nintendo's extra large handheld bucks its predecessors' smaller, sleeker designs in light of a heftier frame and wider screen, but is it worth its equally sizable price tag -- especially with the newly announced 3DS on the horizon

Superior audio quality; sleek yet hefty design; larger screen size benefits both graphics and DS touch gameplay

Hardware Review - 'Nintendo DSi XL'

The Nintendo DS has been out since 2005, and in that time, we've seen a number of console revisions. The DS Lite added some much-needed streamlining to the original bulky Nintendo DS, while the Nintendo DSi added SD card support, a built-in camera, and the ability to download games to the system.

Nintendo DSi XL review

Nintendo started its trend of 'extra-large' DS models with the DSi XL back in 2010, turning an already incredible portable console into a larger, smarter, more accessible iteration.

Easier to use; Bigger screen; Larger stylus

Fiddly Wi-Fi; Less portable; The colour
