Nikon Nikkor Z 85 mm f/1.8 S
The only thing you can complain about is the price. The reflex camera model could be bought for less than $450 without any problems and the mirrorless device costs almost $800. The difference is really big, even after taking into account the fact that the novelty tax might be lowered after some time...
Pros:
- solid, sealed casing, mostly made of metal,, excellent image quality in the frame centre,, good image quality on the edge of the APS-C/DX sensor,, good image quality on the edge of full frame,, moderate longitudinal chromatic aberration,, practically zero lateral chromatic aberration,, low spherical...
Cons:
- distinct vignetting on full frame.

Nikon Z 85mm f1.8 S review
Nikon's first 85mm prime lens for their full-frame mirrorless Z cameras performs very well with regard to contrast, resolution, Bokeh, focus reliability, color aberrations, and coma. It produces sharp and contrasty images that are an excellent fit for the 45MP Z7 sensor.

Nikon Nikkor Z 24mm f/1.8 S Review
The Nikon Nikkor Z 24mm f/1.8 S is a quality prime lens, with speedy autofocus, excellent optical performance, and sturdy construction. The Nikon Nikkor Z 24mm f/1.8 S ($999.95) is another in the company's first wave of prime lenses for its full-frame mirrorless camera system. It's the widest-angle entry yet, and its optical performance is superb. If you're shopping for a wide prime for your Z camera, you won't be disappointed. Built for Mirrorless Nikon's full-frame mirrorless cameras can use SLR lenses via the FTZ adapter, without any drop in performance or image quality. But it adds some bulk to the system. The Nikkor Z 24mm is a new optical design, built to take advantage of the short distance between lens mount and sensor you get with a mirrorless camera. It's typically sized for a full-frame prime—3.8 by 3.1 inches (HD) without the included hood. It weighs 15.9 ounces, supports 72mm filters, and ships with front and rear caps and a soft carrying pouch. Nikon NIKKOR Z 24mm F1.8 S Lens - Brand New review
What a dilemma. Discounting the price, this is an amazing lens that reaches the very highest level of quality. However, there are many lenses not that far behind, almost as fast, even at f/1.4 where the choice widens considerably. These are a fraction of the price of the Nikkor Z.
Pros:
- Outstanding sharpness, Virtually zero CA, Excellent flare resistance, Excellent handling, Quality manufacture, Custom functions for L-Fn button, Sublime handling of point light sources, Virtually no distortion, Beautiful bokeh effects
Cons:
- Huge price tag, Weight, Screw thread lens hood

Nikon NIKKOR Z 24mm F1.8 S Lens - Brand New review
The new Nikon Noct is exceptional in its build, image quality and aspiration. Undeniably big, heavy and expensive, it’s impractical for the majority of Z-camera shooters, but actually more practical than I’d imagined. Its image quality is stunning.
