Nikon NIKKOR Z F/4 S Lens review

The Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S is the smaller and more affordable of Nikon’s two 24-70mm lenses for its Z-series mirrorless cameras. It’s often sold with the Z6 or Z7 as a kit lens, but it’s much more than the average kit lens.

Nikon NIKKOR Z F/4 S Lens review

While it's a shame that picture and sound quality haven't been upgraded, the iPhone 13 was great in these regards and the iPhone 14 is, too Excellent display Admirable headphone performance Solid build quality No upgrades to picture or sound Familiar design Notch is still present

Nikon NIKKOR Z F/4 S Lens review

Apple's latest non-Pro iPhone is superb - it's just that it's strikingly similar to last year's effort.

Still an incredible smartphone, Brilliant battery life gets a bit better, Excellent camera system gets a bit better

Last year’s Pro hardware, Wireless charging slow by modern standards, No USB-C; it’s now well overdue

Nikon NIKKOR Z F/4 S Lens review

As a kit lens, the 24-70mm f/4 S provides enough versatility to satisfy most purchasers of Nikon’s Z-mount cameras, ranging from wide-angle to portrait-length perspectives. Its constant f/4 maximum aperture and electromagnetic aperture mechanism provide stable focus and exposure control and...

More like an iPhone 13S. The generational upgrades for the iPhone 14 are limited to a few subtle changes. At the same time, however, the base price climbs to 800 USD, while the only true innovation happens inside the iPhone 14 Pro series.

excellent OLED display, dust- and waterproof, fast Wi-Fi, wide range of supported frequencies, great camera, very fast performance, good battery life

display limited to 60 Hz, charging rate limited to 20 watts, no macro lens, wide notch

Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm F/4 S Lens JMA704DA review

The Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S is a sharp, compact zoom for the Z camera system that's an especially good value when purchased as part of a bundle.

Useful zoom range; Light and compact; Crisp optics; 1:3.3 macro focus; All-weather build; Quiet autofocus.

Some Raw converters may not apply corrections; Vignette at f/4; Retractable design isn't ideal; Control ring is too sensitive.

Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S Review

The Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S ($999.95) is one of the first lenses for the company's full-frame mirrorless camera system. It starts its life as the default zoom for Z 7 and Z 6 buyers, and is thankfully quite a good lens. It's sized so it balances well on the Z body design, is weather sealed, and offers a zoom range ideal for capturing everything from wide vistas to portraits, along with a good 1:3.3 macro capability. You should make sure to buy it along with a camera—there's a $400 discount if you do. The Modern Nikkor Zoom The Z 24-70mm is the first zoom lens for the Z mirrorless system, and it gives a window into what the company is planning to do with the design of its new lens series. The aesthetics are minimalist—the Z lenses we've seen to date are all basic black, with a mix of metal and polycarbonate construction. The gold accents, which we're used to seeing in Nikkor SLR lenses, are gone, replaced by plain white text. In terms of size, the 24-70mm f/4 balances quite ...

Nikon NIKKOR Z F/4 S Lens review

The Nikon Z 24-70mm f4S is a no-brainer for owners of Z-series mirrorless bodies: optically it is as good as the renowned 24-70mm f2.8E VR with a one stop advantage in image stabilization and almost no loCA.

Nikon NIKKOR Z F/4 S Lens review

The Apple iPhone 14 isn’t a huge upgrade on the iPhone 13, yet it still is a great phone with a top camera, good battery life and all the iOS benefits.

Clever safety features, Very good battery life, Reliable camera, Fun colours, You’ve got an ageing iPhone: If you’re on an iPhone 11 or older, then the changes here will make a notable difference.

Stuck on a 60Hz display, Minimal differences to the iPhone 13, You’ve got an iPhone 13: The changes from Apple’s previous phone aren’t enough to warrant an upgrade this year.
