REVIEW: Nikon AF-S 105mm f/2.8G ED IF VR Micro Lens
This Micro lens from Nikon, was the first of it's kind to include vibration reduction when it was introduced. It sports a fast f/2.8 maximum aperture, a silent wave focusing motor, which allows full time manual focus override and Nikon's Nano Crystal anti-reflective lens coatings.

Nikon 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED AF-S VR Micro Nikkor review by whmitty
I was using a Nikon D7000 when I first got the lens and could not have been more satisfied with the images it produced. I now own a Nikon D600 and the lens continues to produce simply indescribably beautiful images.
Pros:
- Stunningly sharp
- AF and VRII actually works well doing 1:1 macro imaging
Cons:
- A tad heavy

It is a good lens to have if your a macro lover. It produces beautiful bokeh and can be use instead of an 85 prime but with an apreture of F/2.8-3.2. They are plenty of Macro lens on the market and I would recommend them over this high price Nikon lens.
Pros:
- Build Quality: This lens got all the bell and whistles
- Focus limiter/VR/Macro of course.AM/M switch with Nano
- Image quality :is very good but that is the case with all macro lenses made.
Cons:
- Heavy Autofocus is slow but shouldn't be a problem for Macro work
- Price is on the high side while they are plenty of better an other options for better value VR isn't usful for most Macro work unless you are shooting close up of flowers and objects of that size where you don't need to be super...
