Purchased this lens to take close-up and macro photos. Prior to purchase, I read probably hundreds of reviews of lenses from different manufacturers. This lens seemed to come out on top for positive reviews and low cost. I wasn't disappointed.

This Lens is a companion to Nikons ES-2 Digitizer
I bought this macro lens to use on my Nikon D500 with the Nikon ES -2 slide and film digitizer. The lens is tack sharp and is a perfect match for the ES -2 digitizer which enables side and film conversion far more quickly and easily than using a conventional scanner.
