Great Starter Lens
Simple zoom lens for Nikon, ok its not the latest lens but this means it is much cheaper and for someone who is starting out with a DSLR its ideal as a gift.

Takes great photos for my indoor basketball action shots under the hoop. Not too zoomed in but close enough for a great shot.

Good product
It was definitely a good product. No doubt about that. Only problem was that Snapdeal faltered in the timely delivery bit. The delivery was rescheduled and the item landed well after the original deadline.

Nice one - Auto focus is not perfect
You will have to switch to manual autofocus mode many times. However, no defects with the lenses and I'm enjoying the photography with this one..

Never worked from the get go!
After much research I bought my first digital SLR camera, a Nikon D5200. To extend the camera's use I bought this refurbished model zoom lens based on its positive reviews. While using the lens it whirled and whined and would fail to focus but for the fewest times in bright light.

a must buy.
Best Pick Under A Very Good Price. Using this lens from 6-7 months impressed with bokeh effect. You can feel the difference between VR and Non VR. Go for it.

Just get it
My D7000 which I love almost as much as my dog (and keep it under my pillow) with the 16-88 zoom (NOT the give-away lens) is 90% of the time 100% satisfactory. What's 10% wrong? Just a LITTLE bit short for when I can't walk closer or blow up the amazing resolution.
