Easy to use, great results.
This item was purchased to replace an exact lens accidentally dropped whilst on holiday on Norfolk Island - (not good). This lens is an ideal size for close up and distance shots and takes exceptional photos. Item forms part of my kit with a D7000 camera.

NIKON AF-S DX VR 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6G Lens
Used mainly on my D7000 and is reasonably quick on AF; little adjustment on manual focus so have to have very light touch to get spot-on. Good macro capability for a kit lens; I use mainly for landscapes. It delivers IQ of a quality close to something twice the price.

Nikon professional user. This lens should be in your camera bag if you like simple blur-free photographs. The VR is superb. It is super-light and sharp. Fine on my D300 and D3100 cameras when I don't want to carry a heavy zoom and the results are perfect in good light conditions.

This is an excellent little walkaround lens that gives good performance and sharpness plus VR. It all plastic but seems reasonably put together but I don't really like plastic mounts but for the price of this one I can forgive it. Recommended...

At this sort of price this is a remarkable piece of equipment. Despite its shortcomings, the simple truth is it will outperform many of the photographers that use it, and even with many years of experience behind me I include myself here.

As good as new!
I was a bit skeptical for buying a refurbished lens, I have bought a few new Nikon lenses in the past. Have not had a problem with either. And for this price, if I break it I can buy a new one without being too upset!

Love the VR feature added to this lens
I bought this to replace my old lens that came with my D50. I had bought a new D5000 body and my old lens was acting up. This one has the added VR feature. Very happy with it.

Start With This One
This is my go-to lens for everyday photography. Perfect for point and shoot. It's easy to zoom in and out quickly. I keep this one on the camera at all times, and only switch to a premium lens when doing an intentional photo shoot.

excellent quality
this is a kit lens , I bought canon xsi first but was disappointed with its kit lens though the camera was good I returned the xsi and got the Nikon 3100 . The 18-55 kit lens is excellent with very good picture quality autofocus is fast .The only drawback is the plastic mount but it is a kit lens .
