Manufacturer: Nikon
Matched this lens with a Nikon D5500. Great combo of wide angle and zoom makes it very useful lens for most situations.
I am so happy with this lens. It takes super clear shots and is light to carry. Great value for money. Now I only have to carry one lens around as this one does everything. Love it!
I purchased this lens as I found myself changing lenses frequently with the 18-55 and 55-300mm I currently have. This lens fits the bill. Everything you would expect in a Nikon lens in terms of quality. Very happy and not constantly fumbling to switch things out.
Ive been trying to like this lens for a couple years. It ended up on my spare camera that I keep in the back of my car and rarely ever use. Its just too soft at all focal lengths and aperatures compared with any other lenses in by bag.
I bought this lens as a kit lens with a D7500, and think it's a great walking around lens. Yes, it's bigger than the 18-55. When I shot the 18-55, I was always wishing it had a little more reach. The 18-140 focuses quickly and has pretty good reach. I've been happy with the images.
This lens is used on a D7200. I like the way this lens focuses, It finds focus fast and does not hunt. I like the sharpness of the images. I like the light weight. I use this lens primarily for wildlife photography. I works ok for large birds but does not have enough reach for small birds.
I bought it a few weeks ago and am so pleased I did. It was a great price and it's very versatile
Highly versatile all-in-one zoom lens with both wide angle (18mm) and telephoto (140mm) capabilties for outstanding snapshots and videos in nearly any situation. 4 stops of VR image stabilization for sharper handheld shots in low light and at telephoto distances, superb NIKKOR optics and advanced...
I would recommend this as the lens of choice for the beginning photographer. It will do anything you are able to take until you go into areas requiring a special lens.
This has become my lens of choice; I have 21 Nikon lens, and the two competitors are a Nikkor 18-55mm F/3.5-f/5.6 AF-S Lens and a Nikkor 55-200mm f/4.0-f/5.6 ED AF-S, as well as macro and some prime lens; However, unless I am taking Marco photographs, this lens is what I use most of the time.
A little heavy at times and wish I had a better lens hood; Sometimes I would like a faster lens, but then I change to my 50mm f1.8
