good deal !
Excellent lens for the money, if you can live with few quirks being a used lens than this is the one for you. Received one with scratched glass and Cameta customer service did replace immediately.
Pros:
- Great Picture Quality
- Slow In Low Light
Cons:
- Noisy
- Vr Takes Time To Work

the 18-55mm is great for a kit lens
Everything was as advertised. The 70-300mm is adequate, the 18-55mm is great for a kit lens. The wireless remote had a dead battery shipped, after replacement it seems to work okay except always takes two pictures every single button press.

Great value.
Really nice upgrade to the base lens. Got the best deal on this product through Ritz.

Great Lens!
Overall a great lens!! The VR works great and helps a lot!! Sometimes it has a hard time/slow focusing low lighting, but other than that pretty much nothing wrong with this.
Pros:
- Consistent Output
- Durable
- Easily Interchangeable
Cons:
- Poor in Low Light

Good value for the price.
There's a gigantic price difference between this lens and the Nikon 70-200 2.8G AF-S VR meaning if you want something in between you have to go with a third party manufacturer. Even then it's a jump up to around the $1100+ mark to get anything better than this.
Pros:
- Good optical quality for the very low price range
- Good VR.
Cons:
- 300mm is quite blurry
- Slow & unreliable autofocus

Good lens
Good quality lens. It's not a pro lens but it works fine especially if your on a fixed budget. Only drawback is you can't use a nikon teleconverter on it.

Nikon AF-S 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED-IF VR Review
With internal focusing and a consistent set of MTF curves, this stabilised 70-300mm optic has a lot going for it for Nikon users
Pros:
- Internal focusing
Cons:
- Not much at all

Nikon AF-S 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED-IF VR Review
Most lenses of this type offer a maximum aperture of f/4 but Nikon's lens is limited to f/4.5. Despite this, it requires a 67mm lens cap even though its faster f/4 competitors are able to make do with either 58mm or 62mm.
Pros:
- Internal focusing
Cons:
- Not much at all

What a great buy for a great product!
I priced this lens everywhere. No one could price match (Even the top name electronic stores). The closest they came was $70.00 more plus tax. What a great deal. I have always received top notch equipment and price from Cameta Camera.
