Expand your lens options with the EF-S 35mm f/2.8 Macro IS STM and see the world in exquisite detail. Designed for APS-C DSLR cameras, the built-in Macro Lite gives you flexibility to use only half the light, the full light and more to help you achieve your desired effect.

Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24mm f/1.8G Review

Handling and Features Performance Verdict Specification There was a time when a 35mm lens was considered wide. Then the wide angle of choice became the 28mm. Our tastes have clearly continued to widen, as now the 24mm is taking prime position as one of our favourite wide angle focal lengths.

Very good sharpness; Very low CA; Highly flare resistant; Low distortion; Light and compact design; Fast and silent AF; Smooth bokeh

Soft wide open; No weather resistance

Superb New F1.8

This is a lens for all seasons. The contrast and resolution is extremely high as compared to other lenses I use, and the color correction is at "top of its class". No purple fringing was noted when shooting into the sun or around backlit highlights, and the contrast wide open is extraordinary.

Nikon 24mm f/1.8G ED AF-S Nikkor

Nikon's 24mm Æ'/1.8G is an excellent addition to its prime lineup, however most shooters are going to be wondering if it is worth saving a significant amount of money by buying this lens in comparison to the Æ'/1.4 version. The short answer is -- unless you need the Æ'/1.4 aperture setting -- yes.
