So pleased with this lens for my D600 FX !!!!!

Okay so I have personally worked with Nikon's : - 17-35mm Pro F2.8 - 14-24mm Pro F2.8 Started first with the 17-35mm because its a tank, pro lens, and expectations were high. Was disappointed because especially at 17mm the lens was VERY soft overall and even slighty soft in the center.

Sharp; good colors; moderate/low vignetting; superlight for a ultra wide angle; Less that half of my "ex"- 17-35mm

Plastic yet durable feel

I love this little lens!

I love this little lens! It would have got 5 stars, but the first one supplied was faulty. Amazon returns policy, however, meant that a replacement was with me the next day, easier than going to my local camera shop! The lens is small, light and plenty sharp enough for me.

LOVE THIS ULTRA WIDE

I wanted an ultra wide for my Nikon D750 to supplement my Nikkor 28-300. It was a decision between the Nikkor 16-35mm or this 18-35. DxO Mark says that for my D750, this 18-35 would be sharper than the more expensive 16-35mm. Wow.

This lens stays on my D750 most of the time. All my lenses are fast lenses (f/2.8 or faster) so i was a little hesitant when purchasing this lens. but i have yet to miss f/2.8 with this thing! It is amazingly sharp and focuses fast. it is simply perfect!

Great wide angle zoom lens

I haven't put the lens through extensive tests, but so far I'm pleased. I was a little worried that everyone mentioned the distortion at 18mm, but it's easily fixed in Lightroom or photoshop. The lens is well made, but not too heavy. It goes well with the Nikon D600.

Lightweight; sharp

Nikor 18-35 mm zoom

Great light and compact lens for the full chip. Easy to use and good value. Good lens for landscape and general use.

Awesome lens with lens correction data a

This is a great wide angle lens with clear sharp pictures.Although plastic, it feels well constructed and designed. Lens correction data is available for this lens on Nikon site. You will still need a tripod or support for longer exposures in low light.

Consistent Output; Easily Interchangeable; Fast / accurate auto-focus; Strong Construction

Poor in Low Light

Outstanding!

"I had my doubts on this ""value priced"" FX wide angle zoom but once I started to use it, my doubts were unfounded. No VR...no problem...not needed on a wide angle. Very light, very sharp, focus is quick and accurate. It compliments my D610 perfectly! It's a keeper! Well done Nikon!"

Nikon 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5G ED AF-S Nikkor

I tried this lens as a replacement for my Nikon AF 24mm f/2.8 D and I was pleasantly surprised. It's sharper and it has better contrast than the 24mm. It's also very lightweight and compact for a full frame wide angle zoom. I like how this lens handles/feels on a Nikon camera body.

Compact; lightweight; nice handling; sharpness; contrast; silent autofocus

Could be a little sharper at 35mm
