I purchased a factory refurbished D7200 for a variety of reasons. I have been a Nikon user since the mid-1970s, so I have several 1970s vintage manual focus lenses (55 & 105 mm micro-Nikkors, a 28mm and a 50 mm), so having a camera that can use full matrix metering with these lenses was essential.

Best-in-class image quality and sublime ergonomics took the Nikon D7200 to the top of the pack, but is it still as impressive?

Fantastic performance on a recent trip to NYC. Fantastic colors, speed and focus. Upgraded from another Nikon DSLR had for 13 years. High ISO helped me in areas where I couldn't use a flash. Files are extremely large allowing 20x24 and larger prints.

I bought the kit with the 18-140mm lens. The price is very good but most likely a grey import. So I bought the suggested Amazon add-on insurance on top of the seller's 3 year cover. I also bought a UV filter to protect the lens, and a glass screen protector for the display.

Very good product happy with Nikon quality

I've had the Kit for nearly a month and have taken 1100 pictures, mostly birds, flowers and bugs in the garden. It does a very nice job. This is an upgrade from the D5200 I purchased early after its release. The new camera cost nearly twice much as the old one but isn't double the camera.

Great camera and lens. I am almost a beginner and this is my first DLSR. I am happy with the quality of images and variety of settings that I can set to capture amazing pictures. If you are also a beginner and looking for your first pro camera, I highly recommend this one.

Although I'm not a newcomer to photography and consider myself as semi-professional I'm still "learning" and exploring all available settings and options however the photos I haven taken so far have an amazing quality.

I bought this camera as an upgrade from my Nikon D90. The D7200 is superior in so many facets, autofocus is the most impressive so far. The clarity of the fast processor is also brilliant. Harvey Norman were great to buy from and very helpful.
