Impressive camera not for the faint at heart

I bought the kit with the 18-140mm lens. The price is very good but most likely a grey import. So I bought the suggested Amazon add-on insurance on top of the seller's 3 year cover. I also bought a UV filter to protect the lens, and a glass screen protector for the display.

This is so easy to use and really helps when you use your tripod. I was able to get good shots from far away and it works inside the house when your camera is set up outside. I have recommended to all my friends, very easy to set up and use if you are a first time user.

Amazing...

Although I'm not a newcomer to photography and consider myself as semi-professional I'm still "learning" and exploring all available settings and options however the photos I haven taken so far have an amazing quality.

Review: Nikon D7200

If you know someone who makes their living taking photos, there's a 99 percent chance they shoot on either Canon or Nikon gear. And there's a reason for that: their higher end cameras and lenses are superbly built, reliable and perform brilliantly.

A good upgrade

Have upgraded to the Nikon D7200 from a Nikon D50. The D7200 is proving to be a lot more complex than the D50 with many more menu options. The quality of the photos is outstanding.

Build quality; Battery life; Screen size

Complicated

Must buy!

I have owned a point-n-shoot bridge camera so far. This is my first DSLR. I sincerely believe a DSLR is not something to be bought as a first camera. Buy a bridge point-and-shoot first.

Facotry refurbished D7200

I purchased a factory refurbished D7200 for a variety of reasons. I have been a Nikon user since the mid-1970s, so I have several 1970s vintage manual focus lenses (55 & 105 mm micro-Nikkors, a 28mm and a 50 mm), so having a camera that can use full matrix metering with these lenses was essential.

Great camera! Much better than my D7000

My previous camera was the Nikon D7000. The D7200 is a much better camera overall. Faster to acquire moving subjects (mostly birds). Locks on focus better. Is definitely sharper. Better low light capabilities. My capture rate has gone up and the photos I am producing now are sharper and clearer.

Very fast and sharp focus

Great buy

I can't comment on Nikon products. I bought this as a gift set. The recipient loved it. Really can't go wrong with either Nikon or Canon dslr. Price is very good. I gave it five stars for great value, shipping on time and Costco services
