Nikon D7000 review

The Nikon D7000 is a digital SLR camera aimed at enthusiastic amateur and hobbyist photographers. It has some features that would otherwise only be found on professional-level cameras, and it delivers very impressive image quality.

Superb camera

Nikon make great cameras, the D7000 is exceptional. Some say it's the best camera they have ever made, I've not tried them all but this is superb. If your interested in taking great pictures then don't hesitate get this camera, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent Camera

I have been taking photos for years and always wanted to upgrade to a serious camera and I am so glad I picked the Nikon D7000. The camera is easy to use and the pictures were breathtaking from the get-go. Not too heavy and perfectly balanced.

Best in its class camera

I bought this camera after more than one year research online in my budget and I am glad I made the right choice. In DSLRs you get what you pay and in mid professional cameras this camera is excellent choice. Very easy to use and most of setting buttons are very handy.

Bought the D7000 with extras (lens, grip extra battery, extras) Just moved away from shooting Sony for about 6 years. I wanted a system that I could build with felt like Nikon is it. SO far I have not been disappointed.

Image quality; Custom settings - manual focus lens (non chipped lenses can be registered (up to 10; Flash control; Movie mode is very good; the auto focus in movie mode is good not great; Movie quality is very good

I do prefer CF cards over SD; not to much to consider a weakness

D7000

The D7000 is a great camera, not because it takes great photos (it does) and not because it's feature-packed (it is), but because it packs in so much for such a reasonable price. With this DSLR, Nikon has brought many high-end features down to the D7000, effectively moving the camera up a couple of...

Fast shooting speeds; great picture quality; 1080p video recordingat 24fps; good high ISO performance; fast autofocus with the new 39-point AF sensor

AF during live view is faster but still not fast and positive enough for video; no 30fps or higher 1080p video recording
