A well designed and very efficient SLR, the new Nikon D7000 could be the champion of its class. But let's see the test !
A replacement for Nikon's D90 has been expected for quite some time, but many people will be surprised by how many specifications the D7000 shares with its semi-pro cousin, the D300s. As it stands, the D7000 sits somewhere between these other two cameras, both of which are still current models.
The camera was a gift, but I picked it out ! I love it ... opened the box, charged the battery and started shooting crisp clear pictures. There are a ton of special settings I haven't even tried out yet Looking forward to a year of fun photography.
Easy to use; Worked With Lenses I Have; Great quality images
For Nikon fans, the D7000 has been an agonising wait. Even those looking to buy their first enthusiast-grade dSLR, or even people upgrading from their D60's and D3000's. A few Canon users would also have been curious.
Compact compared to bulkier dSLR bodies; Well constructed; decent ergonomics; Great high ISO performance
Focussing system does not match the low-light capabilities; Build quality is good; but a far cry from the excellent D300s; Slight highlight clipping in certain shots
For the first time in my life I am in real love! I have made the best decision ever by upgrading to the Nikon D7000. I have been taking photos since childhood and so far this is the best camera I have used and the photographs are to die for.

Fantastic camera with great features and great ease of use. Better than any Canon camera out there. It has better image quality, Better colors, less saturation, incredible ISO performance and 1080p HD video quality. Best camera for the money and it will last you more than 10 years!
