Dust sensor issues

After 1000 clicks, the sensor start to show dust on the left corner and Nikon refuse to fix it. As D600 owner, I feel that there is a level of quality that rides on the Nikon name and we pay a premium for this. when the quality drops below, I expect Nikon to stand behind and fix the problem.

dust dirt dust

As soon as i took the camera out of the box, I noticed a cm long dirty mark on the mirror, i fitted the lens and the viewfinder was full of dust, what are Nikon doing with their quality control on a two grand camera, i boxed it up and returned it straight away. Not Happy John.

Great camera let down by poor quality control

I loved this camera. Got it in early November and instantly fell in love. This was my first Nikon camera. I have used Sony previously. Ergonomics of D600 is very good and I experienced very little friction in learning the controls and ways of this camera.

Problems with the Camera Box Inc., trading on Amazon as CAMERA SHOT

On January 11, I purchased the Nikon D600, along with a Nikon 35 mm lens from The Camera Box Inc., trading on Amazon as CAMERA SHOT. I chose "standard shipping" in the hopes that the ever reliable Canada Post, rather than a courier company, would be used.

Nikon D600 Review

Nikon's last big DSLR launch was the D800. The big information with that digital camera was its pixel depend of 36MP, which when it was published, perfectly surpassed everything else around (and at the time of composing still does).

Dust/Oil Spots again.

I have already sent the camera in once since Jan. to have the sensor cleaned and it resolved the issue. So I thought. After only 1500 photographs after the cleaning, the dust/oil spots are there again. I am dissatisfied even though the camera takes great photos.

Good camera but BE AWARE of important details!!!

3 things: -the dust issue is not a rumor and it's really annoying. However, if you never shoot f16 and up or don't shoot studio photography, you probably won't even notice. -The quality of this body is great it gives really good pictures (in the day).

Nikon D600

Prior to the release of the Nikon D600 ($2,099.95 direct, body only), full-frame cameras were marketed squarely at pro shooters. Well-heeled enthusiasts might put hard-earned dollars towards a D800 , Canon EOS 5D Mark III , or even a Nikon D4 , but those cameras are packed with features that...

No GPS, Wi-Fi, or PC Sync socket; Compressed control layout; Must initiate autofocus manually during video recording
