A small camera with a BIG sensor When the first rumors about the D600 started to circulate on the Internet, I wondered about what kind of sensor technology Nikon would put into it.

Nikon's last big DSLR launch was the D800. The big information with that digital camera was its pixel depend of 36MP, which when it was published, perfectly surpassed everything else around (and at the time of composing still does).

Nikon's new D600 offers an appealing upgrade path for consumer users. We put it to the test to find out just how good this full-frame, entry-level model really is. Read the Nikon D600 review...
Can Nikon put a foot wrong in the D-SLR business at the moment? We're not so much talking about a renaissance any more as a belle epoch. The list of recent home runs is truly impressive – D4, D800/800E, D3200 and now the D600 (with, we're reliably informed, more to come).
This camera is so good that we would say if you are thinking of buying a D800 or 5D Mark III , take a look at the D600 . is more than a small professional camera for amateurs : it is a different tool . It is more efficient DSLR . And that is what most people need.
The Nikon D600 is a great camera, designed to become a best seller as it was the Nikon D700 . The latter had a few flaws heavy, bulky, noisy in the shot, with the viewfinder is not 100%, with a single memory slot.
Compact and lightweight; Silent shooting; Viewfinder to 100%; Dual memory slot; Autofocus Live View in efficient mode; Electronic level on two axes; Possibility of remote control via Wi-Fi accessory
Fewer focus points of the other models and concentrated only in the center of the frame; High resolution; Banding in JPG
As soon as i took the camera out of the box, I noticed a cm long dirty mark on the mirror, i fitted the lens and the viewfinder was full of dust, what are Nikon doing with their quality control on a two grand camera, i boxed it up and returned it straight away. Not Happy John.
3 things: -the dust issue is not a rumor and it's really annoying. However, if you never shoot f16 and up or don't shoot studio photography, you probably won't even notice. -The quality of this body is great it gives really good pictures (in the day).
Take it out for a spin, and you will love the results.
Low light photos are amazing.
Easy To Use; Good Image Quality; High ISO Performance; Large Clear LCD
