The D600 isn't perfect, and perhaps this is because it's a blend of so much from two distinctly different camera markets - pro and enthusiast. Certain elements of the camera feel clunky, but then you're dazzled by the blistering performance elsewhere.

Great for the price
The image quality is great. I was surprised by the quality of the build(even thought there is that plastic feel)and the low light performance. No dust problems yet.
Pros:
- lightweight
- FX
- HD video recording features
- Low light performance
- 20 min video recording time and image quality
Cons:
- a bit plastic feel
- but i guess i cant complain since its lightweight

Nikon D600 - Full Frame Slim Design
Having owned numerous Nikon DSLRs this is without doubt the best camera produced so far for the semi pro photographer, pro graphic artist or serious amateur market. The camera body is very well designed ergonomically, it's about the same size as the D7000 / D90 but is packed with a full frame sensor...
Pros:
- 24 Megapixels
- Feature packed
- Handy Sized Full Frame
- Lighter Weight For Fx
- Weather Proofed Body
Cons:
- None

Full frame. Priced right.
Keep up with the hard drive size to relax on the edit or delete files. Works beautifully with any af, af Dx af Fx and older primary type lenses. Does quality before quantity. Do your research. This is a keeper by any standard. It does mean business.
Pros:
- Keep up with the hard drive size to relax on the edit or delete files
- Works beautifully with any af, af Dx af Fx and older primary type lenses
- Does quality before quantity
- Do your research
- This is a keeper by any standard.
Cons:
- 11 fps? It's not a D4 or a D800E
- check the cost

Beach Camera is a breath of fresh air!
I use the Nikon D600 for professional work and for general travel photography. It does just about everything the D800 does -- at nearly the same quality level -- and it costs considerably less and is lighter. Resolution is excellent.
Pros:
- Pro Level Camera
Cons:
- None so far

Worth every penny!
I purchased it online just before Xmas and I am really impressed with its performance under different light conditions and settings. The dials and buttons are exactly where you expect them and If you are already a Nikon user there is almost no need to read the manual.

"Top Shelf"
Dell's quality responsive caring sales and service departments are outstanding. My relationship with Dell continues to grow. This Dell experience began November 2012 with the purchase of a Nikon D7000.

FF DSLR is now within reach!
The D600 was a huge upgrade for me, coming from a D40. I paired this lens with a NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII pro lens and WOW, it is amazing! I am getting fast auto focus at several apertures in light I wouldn't even think of trying to shoot the D40.
Pros:
- Easy To Use
- Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus
- Fast Shutter Speed
- Good Image Quality
- High ISO Performance
- Large Clear LCD
- Quiet
- Small For A Full Frame
Cons:
- Maybe Too Slow For Sports
- None For Most Users

A superb full-frame camera and lens that is an exceptional value.
I purchased a factory refurbished camera and lens and am incredibly happy with this kit. The lens takes beautiful photographs (max. aperture f3.5 - 4.5) and the camera is totally fantastic. This combination focuses and shoots really quickly.
