Nikon was the first out of the gate with a mid-priced full-frame camera - the 24 megapixel D600. Targeting advanced amateurs, enthusiasts and pros who want a smaller, lighter second or third camera body, the D600 brings with it a good mix of features and a price tag that won't break the bank.
Pros:
- Excellent image quality

- Dual SD card slots
- Good performance

Nikon D600 – Review
The Nikon D600 is a great camera, designed to become a best seller as it was the Nikon D700 . The latter had a few flaws heavy, bulky, noisy in the shot, with the viewfinder is not 100%, with a single memory slot.
Pros:
- Compact and lightweight
- Silent shooting
- Viewfinder to 100%
- Dual memory slot
- Autofocus Live View in efficient mode
- Electronic level on two axes
- Possibility of remote control via Wi-Fi accessory
Cons:
- Fewer focus points of the other models and concentrated only in the center of the frame
- High resolution
- Banding in JPG

It is what it is. A nice new model between the D7000 and D800. I got one the first day it came out. The large screen was defective with some pixel lines running through it but the friendly staff at the Oshawa Henry's remedied the problem with ease.

Nikon D600 review
A breakthrough price for a full-frame SLR, but you'd never guess from the features, performance or quality

Nikon D600
Full-frame SLRs used to be out of reach for most amateur photographers, but that's beginning to change. The Canon EOS 6D and Nikon D600 both use full-frame sensors housed in more consumer-orientated bodies.
