Nikon D600 - Full Frame Slim Design
Having owned numerous Nikon DSLRs this is without doubt the best camera produced so far for the semi pro photographer, pro graphic artist or serious amateur market. The camera body is very well designed ergonomically, it's about the same size as the D7000 / D90 but is packed with a full frame sensor...
Pros:
- 24 Megapixels
- Feature packed
- Handy Sized Full Frame
- Lighter Weight For Fx
- Weather Proofed Body
Cons:
- None

Nikon D600 Review
There appears to be a move towards increasing the number of camera models with full frame (ie 24x36mm) sensors. Sony, for one, has even released a fixed mirror DSLR model with a full frame sensor.
Cons:
- no vari-angle screen

Nikon D600
Getting closer to the mainstream 35mm SLR, Nikon's D600 carries a lower price than any full-frame predecessor, and delivers the high image quality you'd expect from a Nikon full-frame camera. With an interface more like the D7000 than the D300, the D600 is tuned for the enthusiast photographer.
Pros:
- Comfortable control layout
- Great grip
- Power switch perfectly positioned
- Supports older
- screw-drive lenses
- Mode and Drive dials lock in place
- Focuses well in low light
- Very high resolution with superb detail
- Excellent high ISO performance
- Very good dynamic range
- Quieter shutter (than other
Cons:
- Dust and oil-spatter problem (may go away with time
- Second function button oddly placed
- Phase-detect AF points are limited to the center of the frame
- Moiré can be a problem in certain circumstances
- Zooming in greater than 100% in Live view mode slows down refresh rate
- Slower X-sync speed
- Kit

Great camera let down by poor quality control
I loved this camera. Got it in early November and instantly fell in love. This was my first Nikon camera. I have used Sony previously. Ergonomics of D600 is very good and I experienced very little friction in learning the controls and ways of this camera.

Nikon D600 lives up to the hype
The Nikon D600 is a really good camera for the money, as long as you're willing to shell out for the lenses that can do it justice.
Pros:
- There's a lot to like in the Nikon D600
- including a great set of shooting features
- comfortable and intelligent design
- and excellent photo quality and performance
Cons:
- Photos display some unrecoverable clipping in the highlights that you don't expect in a camera of its caliber

Full frame. Priced right.
Keep up with the hard drive size to relax on the edit or delete files. Works beautifully with any af, af Dx af Fx and older primary type lenses. Does quality before quantity. Do your research. This is a keeper by any standard. It does mean business.

Beach Camera is a breath of fresh air!
I use the Nikon D600 for professional work and for general travel photography. It does just about everything the D800 does -- at nearly the same quality level -- and it costs considerably less and is lighter. Resolution is excellent.
Pros:
- Pro Level Camera
Cons:
- None so far

Really good
I also own a D700 and overall, the at high ISO are better on the D600 which is good (sharper and less noisy at hight iso like 6400). On the other hand, I got difficulty controlling the exposure. Somehow the camera seems to slightly overexpose when compared to D700.
