Great travel camera
Purchased my first Nikon (A900) August 2019 and just returned from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The photos taken there were amazing. When we saw a herd of animals far away I used the telephoto at it's max to ensure it was bison and not cattle. These shots of the bison came out OK handheld!

Nikon Coolpix A900 Review
If you're disappointed by the price point of the Nikon Coolpix A900, it's understandable. After all, a camera with a 1/2.3-inch sized image sensor and inconsistent overall image quality perhaps shouldn't have a starting price point near $400.

Nikon Coolpix A900
In the world of compact cameras, manufacturers have to work hard to tempt you away from the ever-present smartphone. One way this is still possible is the optical zoom -- and if you're travelling or looking for flexibility, the bigger the better.
Pros:
- Long zoom
- Pocket-friendly
- Tilting screen and SnapBridge
Cons:
- Screen isn't touch-sensitive
- small sensor and there's no viewfinder
- Low-light performance could be better

Great form, not so great function
This was my 30th digital camera since 2000 and my third Nikon, the first two being the D5000 and D5200 which took great photos but had lousy video. After eight years with a Sony HX9 pocket camera, I had high hopes for the A900 as its successor.

SnapBridge was disappointed!
I just bought this camera, image quality was good. SnapBridge software was miserable. This software can only transfer 2 megapixels image to your device. The transferred image was blurred.
