It's time to go on an adventure with the lanky Nintendo icon. Thirty years after his first appearance Luigi finally gets his well earned time in the limelight as Mario relaxes his busy schedule. New Super Luigi U is a DLC expansion for New Super Mario Bros. U, that's getting a retail release.
Even for a seasoned gamer this is difficult, and its intended for kids... Since the timer runs out at the very beginning, you have no indication of when you will run out, enemies seem in an over abundance and items seem scarce.
It is strange to see Nintendo add DLC to a mainline franchise like Super Mario Brothers, it's even stranger still to see that DLC be dedicated to the 'lesser known' Mario brother, Luigi.
No longer will Luigi be green with envy, as the oft-overlooked brother of the adventurous plumbing duo now takes the center stage in New Super Luigi U . Not only is Mario no where in the game, Nintendo scratched out the Bros. from the title. That's right, it's all about Luigi.
